Mister Slim Says: Fifteen more games of this.
Sacramento, as expected, lost to a rising Hornets team, and now head downstate to Inglewood to take on the also-surging Clippers. LA, despite being on the second night of a back-to-back, will be motivated to win in order to give themselves better play-in positioning.
The bugginess that's been affecting the board for a couple of weeks now prevented me from including my full write-up in the OP, so here's the rest of it:
==========================================================
It's at least forty games overdue, but the Kings need to start cycling down the veterans soon. As I've stated before, there's no good reason for either Westbrook or DeRozan to play more than twenty-five minutes, not even with there being as many players unavailable as there are: call someone up from Stockton, and roll with it. FWIW, and I have no idea if he's going to play tonight, Dylan Cardwell is no longer listed on the injury report.
My original intention was to take advantage of 3/14 to make a Pie-related poll but, earlier this season, it turned out that there was an actual "Pie Day," so I already burned that idea. I then thought about making a poll for Legal Assistants Day but
- I got cold feet after the lack of interest in Mortician's Day and
- For as many legal drama novels and movies and TV shows as there are, there are surprisingly few iconic legal assistant characters (even if I stretched the definition to include court clerks and stenographers, there were barely enough for a decent poll)
Keep playing the kids.
