I keep liking what I’m seeing from this team. First legit good win since we got LaVine. I really liked what I saw vs Charlotte and Utah - two bottom dwellers but we crushed them like good teams do, and the offense looked smooth. The bench has been really good recently. You have five guys giving you something, and two (Ellis, Val) are great bench guys who could start. Let’s keep rolling, next game is huuuge.

Having JV on the inside beefs up our interior defence and it helps against a poor three point shooting team like the Rockets.

Valanciunas, Laravia, Fultz and obviously Keon/Keeg all play good to great defense. The bench acquisitions were huge, credit to Monte/Wes.

Keon really shouldn’t be an unknown at this point. But I love that he draws that kind of response

Yeah, that’s clearly an insulated fan. Someone who clearly doesn’t follow the league closely beyond their own team.
Any legit NBA fan knows who KT Ellis is.

The fact that he had some DNP-CDs this year is one of the worst coaching decisions I’ve seen. Totally indefensible

Unfortunately against a good three point shooting teams JV tends to be exposed, especially if he plays big minutes and gets gassed

Different types of centers,
Rockets are not a good three point shooting team, the star of the show tonight was the zone defense featuring Keon Ellis as free safety. Naturally that wrecked havoc of them...JV was able to patrol the paint as well since he didn't really have to cover ground
Now play Jonas vs a good three point shooting team? Sabonis is much better when he is switched out onto guards and his post defense is quite good. Jonas has more length.

Every now and then while watching Keon play, I'll still think "Mike Brown, what an IDIOT". Honestly this is probably the only time I remember Mike haha

Good win by the Kings. They need a few more like this one. I think this game showed why the Rockets should have tried to trade for Fox.

JV is such a luxury to have as a backup center, no ego, just willing to come off the bench do his job. Although many teams would love to have him as a starter.
JV and LaRavia by deadline, then Fultz, I suppose this is the best bench upgrade I've ever seen, solid, very solid bench.
