Cody Williams the Whatever the hell Aaron Rodgers’s brothers name was to Jaylen’s Aaron Rodgers lol

Monk is not a pg, he's a playmaker, he can get assists, but he cannot run an offense. There is a big difference.

Give him a little time. He was running the offense for much of the first two-thirds of the season, then all of a sudden he is working with four new players.

More to your point, under Mike Brown, it was Domantas Sabonis who really ran the offense. Under Doug Christie, that seems to be less the case. And now, without De'Aaron Fox, it seems Malik Monk has the ball in his hands a lot at the beginning of possessions, at least as much as Sabonis.

Would you agree?

The only real concern is the defense, but the Jazz don't have a ton of shooters so it might not matter. They are breaking down all the Kings guards with ease.

The Jazz only made 16 field goals in the first half. A lot of that is poor shooting, but I will take that any night of the week.

Domas like LaVine earlier is looking less for himself and just trying to play a team game. His scoring output has cratered lately. In this one he had a clear easy look like 8 feet from the rim and didn't even look at the rim instead he was looking to pass.

OK, hopefully the Jazz don't start hitting those wide open 3's otherwise this could turn in a hurry. DC might be able to run some zone back the other way in this one so the Kings don't get blasted off the dribble like they did.

Last 11 matches Sabonis only scored twice 20+ points (he had 10/11 matches with 20+ before that), also in 6 of them he had 4+ turnovers and only 3 times more than 5 assists (10/13 in the previous stretch)
Today he has 4 points with 1/3 shots, 0 assists, 3 turnovers and several times that he lost the ball that went out of bounds from a Jazz deflection.

Besides from Monk running the offense most (and somehow those pick n rolls between them tend to be vanished), Sabonis has something on his finger for the last couple of weeks that perhaps bothers him, though I haven't seen anything mentioned from Kings reporters in social media.

he also doesn’t seem as energized as before. Maybe it’s nothing
