It's hard to get thrown into league play in the middle of the season as a newly minted rookie. He's a step slow on his passes and seems a little more confident than his skill level warrants, but this experience will accelerate what happens with him this summer.Tonight? He is atrocious on offense. Shoots 30% from the field.
We just need a backup Center and a dam backup wing. That can't be that hard to do. Go get Bomba
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, if things go south during this stretch, see you out in front of G1C after the game on the 26th, on the corner of K and David Stern Walk???
I like the way you think.Tied for best record in the NBA since trading Fox
Do you know who is tied for the worst?I like the way you think.
At least defensively, this team of Monk, Lavine, DeRozen, Murray and Sabonis appear to be better than Fox, Huerter, Barnes, Murray and Sabonis. I cannot stand Huerter as a starter...my GOD, the inability to prevent driving...the fact that teams are hunting him down for one on one is always annoy me lol.
I think a full summer of practices and summer league will do wonders imoStill too early to give up on him.
Might be a good idea to send him back to the G league to get more reps if he continues to show nothing on offense though. We got beams to light!
I'm gonna have to sleep on this one. Ask me again tomorrow after 8:30a.Do you know who is tied for the worst?![]()
Well dang….you just broke the fourth wall. I fully expected to see you with a full on Avatar Na’vi Sabonis head on your body. What a special night. This is the second Kings game I’ve been to and the last one was the winning streak the year Cousins had the illness and the coach got fired. Keegan was awesome and so was Monk and Deebo. I thought Sabonis played awesome defense in the paint. Nerve racking win but super fun

Carter looked very rough tonight, but it's way way too early to write him off.
The one other thing I noticed at the game tonight is how much of a leader Monk was during breaks or when Minny would go on a run. He might be more of a natural leader than Fox was. Maybe he finds even more of his own voice as the new head of the snake.
I think he will get the wistle sooner or later. The way he acts when he gets contact will translate sonner than later. And he attacks hard. Just don't want him getting hurt.Monk has passed the test I think what we’re seeing from him is real Minnesota has NWA/Ant/McDaniels with Gobert protecting the rim and he leads us to a win with 26-8-5
Two ther games vs two good defensive teams without fox
vs Heat: 23-5-6
Vs Celtics: 22-3-8
I wish he could shoot the three better but we could be seeing a Brunson like rise too bad he can’t get the same whistle

His overconfidence seemingly causes this sloppiness.I don’t want to overreact but I am worried. Not sure how he can ever consistently get his shot off to be more than a solid role player. I hope I’m wrong. I love his effort and motor be he throws a ton of junk up there.
Portland is balling , it seems Ayton remembered he was a top draft pick and Avdija at sf makes this lineup very very long.Portland might be the scariest team there which is wild to think about. NO is injured in Zion is missing on of those games, GSW is a mess, and Dallas isn’t scary when there only ball handler is Kyrie
11 bench points. We have got to get somebody that can score off the bench. I’m glad we will have 5 guys that can score 20-30 because we need at least 3 of them to do it every night.

Monk has is a natural born leader and the heart of this team. He's vocal, positive, energetic and fearless.
Something I can't say about a certain former teammate, who never seemed to be vocal nor motivating to his teammates during games.
Fox leaving may help Monk unlock his full potential and elevate his career, much like when Jalen Brunson got out from under Luka's shadow in NYK.
