They can’t seem to decide whether they want to be a high post Princeton offense team or an iso/pick-and-roll and as a result they are currently playing like neither.

And that's where things get deceiving. DDR took the team on his shoulders at times late even if it didn't work whereas Fox passed the ball and had a really critical TO.

Yeah, this is the right answer. I think something is just flat out broke with this team. Seems pretty likely they've tuned out Brown at this point, there's no more "joy" playing with each other that we saw 2 years ago. No more us against the world mentality that fueled the 22-23 Beam Team. All our shooters just collectively continue to underperform.

I don't think a fringe trade does anything for this team. For lack of a better term the "spirit" that let this team break out 2 years ago is dead. Getting a DFS or a Jval doesn't change that.

I'm totally willing to concede that I may just be being browbeaten into the media narrative. The other night when Fox picked up his fifth foul in a tie game I decided I should just go get dinner.

When I got home the whole Kings universe was apoplectic and then I've seen 48 hours of Fox is gone commentary. He's probably moved into top 3 Sac Kings status for me so this is all very hard to process. And tbh there's a lot of folks I follow elsewhere that I am tuning out/muting but I can't exactly do that here.

I don't know. I'd like to see us fix this with a couple rotation moves it is feeling like that may not be enough.
