Yup. Fox should have had it but oh well - Monk completely stopped looking for his shot and that didn’t help us

That was the end. Monk just gave up on offense after that three with no one within 10 feet of him. DDR was awful in the 4th but Monk completely stopping was so out of character and even worse for the team imo.

Malone got the last laugh, he doubled that pick and roll this time and sent Jokic up. I would have run the same Monk/Domas middle pick and roll and swing over to Fox. That would have forced the double team to Monk and not Fox.

To be fair, the Kings probably lost it when Westbrook and Murray knocked each other out on a rebound but the Kings somehow left Aaron Gordon open 3-on-5 and he hit a pull up three.

That open 10 footer popped in and out. And DeMar had the dunk to give the Kings the lead two plays before. The Kings played well enough to win. Just didn't get the bounces when they needed them. This is a loss you hold your head high after though. These guys balled out tonight. All of them.

That sucks but the team showed some grit and fight. They can't come out flat and hope to dig out of trouble against a good team like the Nuggets. Nuggets showing that poise, that comes with experience, to close out the game.

Same thing happened to my Arizona squad this weekend. Had a big lead but had wasted all their timeouts fighting from awful start. Let UCLA make like a 12-0 run to go up. I get sometimes you only have one left but I still hate the idea of not using it to cool a run before you are in trade a basket crunch time.
