Kings inexplicably down 7 at halftime despite playing the entire first quarter like they’d never seen a game of basketball before.

Yeah, clear sign of rust. The Kings finally start playing with some sort of consistency and then have that spotty tourney schedule, yay!

Possibly the most wild 1H we've seen in a long time and now the half-time show is some dude balancing a grill on his chin.

On the plus side, if this is the McDermott we’re getting post tourney, that’s a lot of our bench scoring issues solved. Also Colby has carved out a nice slot in the rotation as a minute eating swing wing.

Just what I feared. Then Mike Brown runs his practices so hard, we end up with another injured player. Speculation, I know.

It could be. I would think Brown lightened up on those since we haven't heard anything about it but who knows. It could also largely be confidence. When you are basically all offense to start a game and the offense is sheepish and missing even good shots you're getting down no matter what.

Keon with +11 at halftime, Isaac has +1 all others are at minus.
McBuckets 3/5 3p, rest of the team 1/12
Rebounds are 30-17 for the Nuggets (10 offensive for them 13 defensive for us).

Brown has said almost all the practices since the season started have been no contact. Just walk thrus, shooting, film and individual work outs.

Brown needs to let McDermott play through a couple of missed shots on a regular basis. He's one of the most capable consistent 3 pt shooters on the team and it's only a matter of time, before he gets it going. Especially given that nobody else has really been shooting well
