Well, nobody was blaming him anyway. Every unit has their breaking point injury wise. For as average to below average as the defense has been at times. It’s still been better than it probably has any business being

They definitely should’ve went and got themselves a legit pass rusher at the deadline atleast. That can cover up for a lot. The secondary has been terrible forever though and I’ve been up in arms about it forever

I remain ambivalent about the defense. Hard to really be truly mad with the level of injuries we have on that side of the ball, STILL. If this were what we "expected" to head into the year as, talent wise, then yes, I'd be furious.
