[NFL] 2025-2026 Thread

minshew with a no doubter pick to end the Chiefs season. Looks like Andy Reid will be having cheeseburgers in Cancun this postseason.

That didn't turn out well - but will be pulling for Seahawks for 1 game only Thurs......honestly the 49ers are taking full advantage of their creme-puff schedule. They are better than average but a good season would be the divisionals. They are not up for the Rams with this current team and the Bear look like the up-and-coming team going into the playoffs and into next season. Packers had their very good season axed by injuries today - savage for that club/Packers fans..

Seahawks will not beat the Rams - their offense is not up for it.....maybe the Bears could beat em, and that's the only team with potentail after the Packers nasty injuries.
 
Magic number for 49ers Wildcard berth is 1 win, or I think a Lions loss.
I'm impressed with the Bears despite the loss to the Packers.

Here's how I'd rank the NFC now:

1. Rams actual Rams
2. Bears actual Bears
3. Seahawks actual Eagles
4. Packers actual Bucs
5. Eagles actual Seahaks
6. Lions actual 49res
7. 49ers actual Packers
8. Panthers Actual Lions
9. Bucs
10. Cowboys

Panthers blew it vs the Saints just like the Bucs....couldn't tell you who will snake in from the NFC South.....but the division format is crud....Lions are better than both teams this season.

6. Patriots
7. Ravens
8. Colts
9. Steelers

I don't think the NFC is any better than the AFC - though the Rams have the slight edge over Broncos and Bills. Bears with coach Johnson and QB Williams are a exciting team to watch - and could be the team of the future. I think they're gonna pummel the 49ers by at least 10pts.

49ers remaining games prediction:

49ers @ Colts: 23-17 Win
Bears: @ 49ers: 37-27 Loss
Seahawks @ 49ers : 23-19 Loss

Most likely to play as Wildcard vs Eagles in Philly and lose.

As big a Bears fan as I am, I’m cautious. The defense has been phenomenal at takeaways but when you look at points given up and yards, they do give it up. They got Jalen Johnson and Stephenson back in secondary but lost Kyler Gordon til playoffs…..a big loss. Worries about Bears final 3 opponents in GB, Lions and 49ers. Need to win one of them.

Yeah, Greene is not NFL starting material - maybe not even backup qualified - he's physical but his cover skills are sh!t - he got majorly burned vs the Titans Jefferson I think it was, but Ward overthrew him - he doesn't have quickness and speed to recover from mistakes either....he's ok with run support and that's it- a deep backup at best....Stout is better, but only satisfactory, and honestly Lennoir is also only satisfactory, they don't have a single above average cornerback at all on the team......thanks to their management's neglect.

Yeah Lenoir is average but he looks like a pro bowler in comparison to the other DBs. The safeties are largely invisible in pass coverage as well.

They really need to try and sign a CB in the offseason because rookie CBs usually take a year or two to get going.
