Some more good games in the afternoon on Sunday ......particularly like Eagles @ Bucs and Colts @ Rams.,....the evening game Pack @ Cowboys may be painful for Querty.
 
Not really a fan of these touchback rules. NFL might as well just shrink the field to 50 yards these days. It's all just their way of artificially bumping up the scores to make it seem like there's more action going on.

Purdy good to start for Niners after sitting out 2

After missing the past two games with a toe injury, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is healthy and will start against the Jaguars.

49ers now favored by ~3+ pts over Jaguars with total score of ~47.....indicating expected 49ers ~ 25-22 -- similar scorelne vs the Saints.
Purdy gotta be pretty careful pushing off the injured toe (tendon) as not to reinjure it. That could mean conciously limiting scrambles. Jags rushing defense is ranked #2 while the passing defense is ranked #31 (!) which probably indicates more throwing this game than some of the other games.
 
I like these Gruden previews for the theatrics - miss him in the broadcasts.......he's picking @Bucs over Eagles - 30-27.
