2014-2015 Sacramento Kings Schedule

Man, all of November is brutal. Almost all of it is on the road against Western Conference playoff teams (or almost playoff teams like Memphis, Denver, and Phoenix). Minnesota looks like the only easy game of the bunch. We're going to see pretty quickly how this new group handles adversity.

probably better this way than it has been the past few years where we opened with the easiest part of the schedule, stumbled, and were basically finished by December for anybody really looking behind the numbers. This sort of schedule lends itself to hope even late in the season that we could pick up steam and make a run.

The only thing I don't like about such a tough start, is that our national TV games, our chance to make some mark on the national consciousness, also fall in the same period. So if we get off to a bad start recordwise, that's what everybody will see on national TV. Just the Kings losing again.

^Great point. We have actually won a few of out national games over the last couple years against some good opponents, such as OKC. But nobody cares because it's just the Kings who were already well under .500 by the time those games happened

Wow the start of the season is beyond brutal we face elite teams plus a healthy Denver which is a 45+ win team and the Suns. Way to brutal for us to handle.

Only way to face brutality is with even an equal dose of brutality.
You have to have players that can provide that brutality we have 1 and 1/2 that can. Our only chance is to hope teams take us light and we go hell hard like what the Suns did last year.

Well at least this way you know where you are after 5/8 games. No excuses to play down to the opposition there. Yikes.

If we somehow survive the first stretch full if tough game with something close to a .500 record, we can definitely make a playoff push.

And great national coverage this year!

EDIT: At least we begin December nicely.

vs. Toronto
vs. Indiana (no Paul George)
vs. Orlanda
vs. Utah
@ LA Lakers
vs. Houston
vs. Detroit

That is 6/7 realistically winnable games right there.

Playing pretty much all playoff or borderline playoff teams in November...let's hope they are up for the task. GULP.

Instead of Grant and Jerry? I could see Pollard sliding into Jerry's role. I actually think Grant does a good job. I love Mitch, but he would be terrible behind the mic IMO.
