Has he? I've seen him a lot better than this, including some playoff games

Looking at his stats the last 3 teams he hasn't been a top option, not so great. The Nets? Pretty good. He was always kind of inconsistent but more in a Malik Monk kind of way. He could be tired from the summer which I'm sure he is but it could also be age catching up with him. Small guards that largely relied on physical ability tend to fall off a cliff at some point.

Domas playing 40 minutes with broken ribs or whatever ain’t ideal
Definitely not but it was great to see the fire and strength we got used to seeing in previous seasons. This game really illuminates just how hampered he was by injuries before tonight, if you ask me. There are things he could have and still should have done better, but I will never ever question that mans effort. Most players sit out with a hangnail and we've had many of those types over the years since Peja

I agree. He should be held out of practice tomorrow because against "The Alien" might be turned into mush. But there is an answer however. Start the other Frenchman who knows Wemby very well. Played against him, with him numerous times. At a minimum will trash talk in French to him a bit or a lot depending how it goes in Spurs land. Start MAX! Nothing to lose.

I honestly think Christie did terrible coaching this game. He motivated his players, they played hard this game.

I love the gameplan early. Feeding sabonis with Westbrook felt like a dream.

But then.. he plays none of the younger players. He over played his starters for no reason at all. And they ran out of gas.

Then he keeps them in, even in garbage time.

I dont understand it at all.

And Ellis prob had the worst game ive seen of him. His defense was terrible. He didnt get stronger at all in offseason. I bet this is why coaching is disappointed in him and didnt resign him this offseason.

Seems he completely ignored strength training. Remember the body dif with Murray from year to year. Ellis looks the same as rookie season. Hes constantly getting punked by bigger guards amd reaching for his life on every play

I also saw forwards backing him down and sending him sprawling without a call. You could be right that he needs to get stronger; a lot of men start filling out around age 25.

I am trying to take a philosphical view of the current five-game losing streak, as the Kings were dealt a horrible hand the entire month of November. Seven of the first eight games this season were close, and they won three of them. Then came the long road trip. After a certain point, the players started to lose confidence and the team started to lose cohesion.

The first three quarters against Minnesota showed that they can still compete. Starting Westbrook, with his nonstop energy and excellent passing, certainly helped. But it was the first game on another five-game road trip.

The Kings will play 16 games in November but only 10 in December. January has 17 games, but many are against the Eastern Conference. Keegan Murray may be back that month. If they can hang together, psychologically speaking, through the next two weeks, I think they will come out stronger. Losing can feed on itself, if you let it. We saw that happening this week.

Some guys tried.
Wolves in their arena annoyed me greatly. It's a hard choice between court, whatever "entertainment" that was during stoppage time and Wolves players antics.
NBA refs... can't wait for the AI to start calling games.
DDR played 34 minutes, 6 points, 3 rebounds.
DeMar going full Harrison Barnes without the occasionally good 3 point shooting

Derozen cant and shouldn't shoot 3's and he should f-n know better.....
DDR might be a tough 5 worst signing ever for the Kings and what's worse you knew exactly what he would bring (it's not even performance related cause he did what he does it's not like he played below expectation he played decent), such a BAD signing and the fact he won't come off the bench as well just a horrific signing, had he accepted a 6th man role and the Kings got a actual PF-SF hybrid it could have been way different.

Yeah, they're throwing darts - they overpaid, they gave it a go - , it marginally worked but not a winner - he brings very good mid range game at a price on defense and long range shooting....his playmaking/assists are also average. Especially at his age now the holes are more glaring - he's taken the Kings on a bit of a ride with the 3rd season contract inclusion at 37 yro.

Props to you folks who watch these games. I can't do it
If you go in with a low expectation you can do it.....not fun to watch a losing team - and this one has shown little resilience........Not suiting up and Cardwell is p!$$ing me off. He crackles with energy and they have him on the outs......This isn't tennis, 4 other players can fill in the offense

Just watched the game since I chose to go watch HS football playoffs instead. It feels like Christie doubled down on playing the vets because they went on the road and the home crowd couldn’t boo them off the court.
I don’t think this is a directive to Christie at all. He didn’t really play young guys last year either. I think DC is just bad.

And so much for his presser comment that he will find guys that will play the way he wants. I said a long time ago he’s going to ruin the young guys…….that still stands

Funny take, considering he had 4 steals and a block in 22 minutes while guarding Randle and Reid much of the time.

I just feel sad. Well, maybe not sad. I don't know how I feel. Apathetic I guess. I don't even turn the games on anymore. I don't look forward to them. I don't discuss them with my friends. There is nothing here and it feels empty now and going forward until there is new ownership.

I used to worship this organization even in horrible times. I just don't care now. They need to win me back. At the end of the day I know it's just me, I'm one person who doesn't make a difference to this team. But it just sucks that it no longer brings me joy, just indifference.

Never thought I'd see the day, looking back 25 years ago, that I would prefer the NFL nowadays. This sucks man. Feels like part of my being is just gone. I don't feel proud repping this team. It's not because they suck but because of how dysfunctional and inept it is. I can't attach myself to that so heavily and display it. I even took my kings license plate cover off due to embarrassment of rooting for a team (org) that doesn't give a f about its fans and treats them like permanent cattle that won't leave.

Well people are leaving. And I'm not the only one right now. I'll never root for another team but it's hard to care at all. Whining over.
