I’ll be honest, the fact we got a fair whistle is the most shocking thing
Doug said during training camp that he told his players not to bark at the refs, that that was his job. I think there's been less of that from us this year, and there was plenty of it from Milwaukee today, and we got 40 FTs. Might not be a coincidence.

Cmon man. Puke on a road win against the bucks?
Smh

We scored 135 points and won by 2 points. I don't think that's a sustainable strategy. The puke from me is for the death of defense in the NBA. The game itself win warrants the shrug from me because of the way it happened. I'm not telling anyone else what to feel about it, I'm just trying to make sure you see what is happening out there besides just the made baskets.

@Caccia Did you catch LaVine sidestepping out of the paint as the help defender and then running back for the cherry pick on that previous play while the Bucks got the offensive rebound?
Not sure, but there was one play where he unnecessarily tried to help defend in the lane, and left his man wide open for a three.

I agree with you for the most part but aside from the 1st quarter when MIL was insanely hot from 3 and scored 47 points, we “held” them to 86 the rest of the way which is more sustainable in todays NBA. Not great, I know but if you can keep teams to 28-29 a quarter you will be in most games.

Yes I know we suck ar defense

The Bucks were so frustrated in this game because the last thing they anticipated was a close contest; hence the win by the Kings. The Kings played a smart game. The Bucks, led by Bug Eyes, not so smart. It was Bug Eyes' technical that mucked up the game for his own team, not the Kings. With even less rhythm the Bucks were polar ice cap cold from the three, allowing the Kings to win.

I was happy Clifford and Max got some time in this game. But I was very unhappy the vets froze out Max when he was at the 3 point line being totally unguarded. It was weak by Christie allowing it to occur. If you have young guy who can hit 3s out on the floor the message better be heard loud and clear that coach doesn't want to see selfishness from his vets hogging the ball at the expense of the rook, which is exactly what happened.

I definitely did not see him trying to help in the lane except for the one play where DeRozan knocked the ball out of bounds on a fast break and LaVine also swung at the ball after DeMar knocked it loose. I counted at least 4 plays where he was the closest player to the ball on a Bucks layup attempt and he stepped out of the way, making no attempt to contest the shot.

Never enough. Haven't one in bucs home since 2015! Puke?

This is is madness. I think its time people understand what team they are rooting for. This is the Sacramento Kings. Not the Dream Team.

We have to fight hard for our wins. All of them! This was a great gutsy win.

Westbrook is the best bench pg we have had since Bobby Jackson. Enjoy the freakin ride

Which averages out to 114 points allowed per game. I realize that's par for the course in the NBA now and more stats make for more exciting fantasy basketball, I don't know, matches? Do we call them matches? And of course all those made baskets cut together into some pretty neat highlight videos which is, like, all we're supposed to care about according to the Commish. But as a long-time fan of the game of basketball, nothing about this style of play excites me.

For the third time, the puke was for the final score not the win. I thought that was obvious given everything else I've written about basketball on this forum. And also the way that I wrote "135-133 (comma) puke."

Man i love the way Russ pushes the pace and constantly looks to get Sabonis easy buckets. Relying on Monk to do that by himself was always going to be tough but the Westbrook-Domas chemistry is looking nice so far. Imagine if Fox had that natural ability :(

Ten assists! He did not shoot very well, and missed all five of his three-pointers, but made some excellent, and timely, passes.

Oh it's not that you said it about the final score. Its that out of all the things you could have said. Example being happy about a win, you mention the score being to high for your liking

You can see when Russ has the ball in his hands he’s still a quality playmaker.
Absolutely. I think his time spent with Jokic really helps the squad, especially with his understanding of how important it is to not only feed the big, but keep him involved. There was a play early on in the game where Sabonis and Russ found each other and Westbrook got the easy basket he was initially trying to set up for Domas, after drawing the attention of the defense. Those little things add up to W’s more often than not.

I'm probably the chillest person here after a regular season loss. If you want to bag on me for caring more about style of play than a regular season win on the 1st of November, then sure. I'll own that. When we make the playoffs or play the Lakers/Warriors I'll take the wins and losses personally but the rest of the time I'm only concerned about process. This game taught us, what? We can win when our vets all go for 20 or more? I've got to see them consistently do that for two weeks before I start to get excited about that.

I mean, I'm not shy about saying I hate this win. 🤷

DeRozan - 41 mins
LaVine - 39 mins
Schroder - 37 mins
Westbrook - 34 mins

Ellis - 16 mins
Clifford - 16 mins
Carter - DNP

Nique is coming back from injury, so his minutes restriction is justifiable. But the Kings rode their not-long-for-this-team set of vets for heavy minutes just to eke out a 2 point road win after putting 135 on the board. It's just... the antithesis of what I believe this season should be.

If the Kings manage wins while getting their younger players on the court for heavy minutes, then so be it. But I can't countenance this desperately sweaty short-term thinking.

I'm probably going to be the type that's yucking everybody's yum after these kinds of games, but I just can't care about wins earned on the backs of guys who the organization should be actively looking to move within the next year.
