Have we seen Len yet? I’d like to see some more protection against those layups. And if he accidentally connects an elbow with Green’s chin… cie la vie.
All *this*. We’ve been playing like this, at this pace/intensity, most of the season. GSW thought they could knock us out, 4-0… awww look at those cute Kings after 16+ years of no playoffs. We’re 2-2. It hasn’t been easy for them either.
I need this half-time to recover. Feels like watching a heavy-weight fight where boxers are just slugging away at each other.
No notes on the game other than happy to see Keegan get those shots.
I never expected us to go into Chase and the defending champions roll over and give us two games. Their backs were against the wall and they battled like the team they are. I think the Kings got inside their own heads - maybe all the chatter about how the refs were calling the game, Kings are...
I hope he avoids the obvious trap being set. I think Brown knows that’ll likely happen so it’ll be interesting to see how he might rotate the bench bigs in. Len gave them issues, maybe Metu and Holmes get in there to disrupt/take a foul or two.
One of my fav Alex Len moments from the season was when Kenny Lofton Jr comes rambling down the court only to run smack into Len and drops like a tree.
I saw them in 2019 in Vegas (I know, I know - but I was always out of town when they did local shows). I personally enjoyed the show but I’m not a critic so couldn’t give an impartial review.
The entire reason I became a STH was to *go* to games like Game 1, but I did sell this game and picked up lower bowl seats two sections away for *$320* + fees, about an hour ago when the Kings dropped some more tickets. Five minutes later the 8 seats next to me were sold & back up as resale for...
My only two cents: The first two rows in that corner floor section by the visitors bench are probably the worst floor seats at GC1 for *watching* the game. Many times players will stand there during the game and you always have the camera people roaming the baseline.
The ushers watch that area...
STH here - every one of the regulars in my area of the section was there. The % of GSW as a whole in the arena was not noticeable. The atmosphere was incredible, the game was nerve-wracking, our team battled and the crowd stayed behind them.
