Pot calling the kettle black!
Give me someone who at least has the concept of knowing how to build a championship contender. Someone who has either built one or has played on one so they know what it takes. They won't be doing too much of the heavy lifting, they will just be in an advisory role. So yes someone like Steve Kerr has more credibility that Chris Mullin who has NEVER played for a title contender and the one team he did run was a mitigated disaster.
Even Chris Wallace (not a big fan) would be more appropriate in this role. At least he built a team in Memphis that is a contender and/or has been in the last couple of years. Morway was part of the front office that put together the Indiana Pacers. Kevin Pritchard has put together some nice teams in Portland prior to injuries and is part of the front office in Indiana these days.
That is just 4 names off the top of my head that instantly have more credibility than Mullin who aside from being a very good player and a hall of famer has never won anything in his career either as a player or a front office man. Take a look at his history as a front office man with the warriors. Its a **** up after **** up and never got those teams to be anything more than run and gun show ponies.
So before you go off and start dribbling from your mouth questioning other people's intelligence how about you enlighten us with yours and tell us why is Chris Mullin such a good addition to the Sacramento Kings.

My whole point is that it is ridiculous to judge this move. It makes no sense to. To do so, you have to assume like 20 things, and when you do so, you really just appear to be in love with sounding like the guy who knows better.
I am interested in the possibilities of Mullin joining the team.
Also, the whole "championship experience" argument is ridiculous. How much championship experience did they have when the won their first championship???
