With as often as we do it, it can only be coaching. I refuse to believe that they are being coached not to cheat off three-point shooters, but keep doing it every single game, any way. Occam's Razor would seem to suggest that they keep doing it because they're told to do it. Why they're told to do it, however, is anyone's guess.
