[Game] Kings Vs Lakers - 21/11/2012

I think he took that "coach forever" from gavin too literally and thought he had time to play around. its the NBA you ride your best guys and step aside.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Petrie said something to him. He mentioned the rotation / lineup combo's in his interview with Jason Jones ... so it would make sense that he would have that same sort of conversation with Smart.

Oh wow...Jimmer gets 7 seconds of play...and makes the play other guards on this team can't. smh.
I'm so close to just telling you to shut up. You're obviously not a Kings fan as you'd realize quickly beating the Lakers is important. We're winning. Yet you're more concerned about Jimmer?

If you'd have bet me that we'd have the lead at half, with Cousins held scoreless, ten turnovers, behind in the battle of the boards, and the lakers having a 15-2 FT advantage, you'd have taken some of my money, for sure.

foul trouble and injury may have helped him grow a brain stem, but unless my eyes decieived me, Keith Smart just finally managed to coach himself a half of basketball where his substitutions all made sense. Who woulda thunk?

on the other hand. we would have a nice lead if it wasnt for that couple of minutes where LA put the starters back in before Smart did. i believe Kobe scored a quick 9 points in that time

Why of course he reads Kingfans - it just took awhile to sink in:)

While not defending the poster you quote, I am a little surprised that Jimmer doesn't see more playtime after a series of good games. He also has a history of playing pretty well against the Lakers. But, figuring out Smart's coaching would be better left to the astrologers, and Thornton looks to be breaking out of his shooting slump, so I'll shut my yap.
