KF Kings Prediction Poll #6: Where do we rank in the West this season?

I've got 7 teams definitely finishing ahead of us (Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Spurs, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Thunder).
I think these 3 teams will definitely finish below us (Suns, Rockets, Hornets).
I think we'll be approximately on the level of this group (Kings, Warriors, Jazz, T'wolves, Blazers). I figure I'll throw us into the middle of those 5 teams, which puts us at #10 in the West.

5 teams definitely going to the playoffs (Lakers, Clippers, Spurs, Grizzlies, Thunder)
Teams who might make it and have a better chance than us (Timberwolves, Mavericks)
That leaves one spot. We are definitely gonna have to fight hard if we wanna get it, and I mean H-A-R-D.
Hornets, Suns, and Blazers don't have a very good chance of making it, so that leaves Kings, Warriors, Rockets, and Jazz.
Rockets I don't think will make it out of those teams. They've lost Luis Scola, and they think they've picked up their savior, Jeremy Lin. I think this won't be a very good season for Lin. I think he'll have over-expectations and will flop. He'll probably be released by the end of this season or next season. But I could be wrong.
Ultimately, I think it will come down between Kings, Jazz, and Warriors.

I disagree, I think the Jazz has brought in a lot of extraordinary talent, however I dont think they'll have as much team chemistry as the T'wolves. Mavericks? Maybe. I know they have lost Jason Kidd and Jason Terry, along with Brendon Haywood. But they've gone out and picked up guys like OJ Mayo, Elton Brand, and Chris Kaman. Again, the chemistry thing.
The Jazz were a playoff team last year and several of their key players were young and should continue to show improvement. We lost Devin Harriss but added Mo Williams (been in the system before) and Marvin Williams who are both better shooters and better perimeter defenders than we had before.
We also have a very good young coach that did an outstanding job of getting the most out of his players last year.
We in Jazzville have good reasons to think that we got better over the off season.
I do think the Kings will be better than they were last year but most of their problems are defense related and I don't know how much better they are going to be defensively next year.

before i continue i want to point out that i dislike knit picking and i apologize for doing so, but this is seriously slighting the Cousins. Cousins is a dominant player at his position. Its at the point where we can just throw him the ball and he can put points on the board. I believe Thornton played 6th man in NO and he was awesome. 2nd year or not Thomas is still more than capable of being a starting point guard. I still strongly feel that the main question mark hovering over our teams success is can the head coach get close enough to the correct dosage of the players he has. Im very confident that if this team had one of the better coaches in the league that it would become a playoff team instantly.
Of course with this many variables in play there is no way to even get close to a reasonable prediction. That being said I like the energy of last years Kings and the addition of TRobb. Witha full off season and camp, along with a years maturity I think the Kings are 7-8 team and squeak into the Play offs with a nice final month.

We are better than New Orleans, Phoenix, and Houston imo. We are on the same page as Golden State and Portland. We about about 10-15 games back of #9 spot. 1-9 will all have 45 wins or more. We will have about 30-33.
Watch for the T-Wolves this year. They were playing out of their minds before Rubio got hurt. 17-12 in the last 29 games after the slow start. Look for them to be over .500 and challenge for the 8th spot this year. Rubio will be a huge part of their success.
