And it makes little sense. If you have a player you consider good enough to ride to exhaustion, then why wouldn't you want that player in the last five mins of a game/half? Very similar to his handling of Curry last year. Almost identical situation, yet there it was Acie Law getting the extended mins while Steph was benched.
Not to defend Smart, but wasn't part of the problem with Curry his ongoing injury problems? An observation more than anything because I really don't follow the Warriors closely enough to know if that was the case.

Also happens in baseball, soccer, hockey and football, yet fans don't hear it as they're so far from the field of play. Be happy you're so close to the action you can hear the bad language! Most can't afford it. But foul language and pro sports go hand in hand. Distance from the action covers that for many.
Yep, anyone that went to the 49er's practice in the old days in Rocklin, would know that the professor looking Bill Walsh had a very bad potty mouth.

Not at that point. Steph's ankle problems last year were earlier in the season, and the benchings increased towards the end when healthy. Media down here is different though, and it was frequently talked about on/in the radio/newspapers/blogs.

I'm a Raiders fan, and Gruden when here said some things at the Napa practice facility(open to public) during training camp which makes what Cuz said sound like something Mother Teresa would say.

These are the top .01% of a profession going at it. There's cursing in the board rooms of the top financial institutions and law firms as well.

lol, nope. another force inside without a pass out. Amazing they are still in striking distance, going to be fun down the stretch, hopefully.
Like I said - he takes outside shot, criticized for not being aggressive and settling. He drives, criticized for not passing out. He passes to other players - criticized for not stepping up.

Oh no, end of 3rd quarter play Jimmer never touched the ball. I would have liked a cranked up 3 with no time left in the 3rd from an open Jimmer. I am not sure who was the player who forced it inside, I need to get HD.

I guess I must be on a roll or something. First I got fed up with the Maloofs and, as of about 10 minutes ago, I am officially fed up with Keith Smart. WTF is wrong with him? It takes a lot - and I mean a lot - for me to get disgusted with a player or a coach, but this is ridiculous. Smart is working from a playbook you could get in a Cracker Jacks box and has the substitution acumen of my goldfish. Just a couple of minutes of exposure to Oscar Robertson and I am not longer going to apologize for Keith Smart.

...

That is all.

Jeez, Harden is such a good player. He's already on his way to being Manu good
Some people around here think that we have to start Thornton, under any circumstances, because we have to have our best shooters/offensive players in the starting lineup. Then, I see a player like James Harden, and want to shoot myself in the head.

I'll go so far as to say that, even if we trade Evans, or let him walk in free agency, we should still bring Thornton in off the bench.

Did you just step over to the dark side?

What was the defining moment, or thing said if I may ask?

I'd just like him to be more composed.

And also in board rooms and all other sports pretty much you cannot sit your 90 year old great grandmother 20 feet from a 7 foot tall black man throwing a fit and cussing at her direction. It was pretty embarrassing trying to sell her on rooting for Cousins.

But let us not have a athletes are not role models conversation. There is a comeback mounting here. :)

The influence of The Maloofs and Coach Smart.

Welcome to the Dark Side.

Feels good to let it out, doesn't it?

I agree. He's a good gunner; he's not that great defensively; he needs to come off the bench.
