Cavs got a really easy sch~ coming up - but I wouldve preferred Toronto to win that game tbh and let us breath a little with a 2 game difference together with Detroit and Golden-State.

There's not much diffrence between 4th and 5th worst so there's no need to be greedy, Cavs can keep thier tank-fest on and get the 4th - basically i'm just hoping right now Detroit and Toronto 1-2 more wins till the end of the season - that the Nets keep fighting and finish strong - and that we handle our buisness and only win 1-2 more games tops till the season ends (Blazers, Hornets) - and loose every other game against the over 500 teams.

Could really use DeMarcus getting T'd up against Dallas tho.

UK, we're rooting for the kings :)

9 more games til the end of the season and to find our fate in the lottery. i have a feeling this is the year we hit the top 3. we've been shafted the previous years.

You never know! Fingers crossed.

I'll go out on a limb and suggest we fall as low as is humanly possible and trade the pick for a mid level scrub. *sigh*

Toronto is going on a little run. We're in sole position of the 5th spot for now. Cleveland is 1 game ahead of us in 4th, but they might be slated to get Varajao back. They also have some winnable games.

As it is, the past week has seen things go our way, with losses on our end and wins to break our 3 way tie for 5-6-7

A good way of figuring out where we will draft after the lottery is this. Take our draft position before the lottery... add 3... thats where we draft! Can't wait for the #8 pick guys!

I'm looking at the loss column. Toronto is the only team in "competition" with us for the 4th slot. Given the remaining schedule, at worst we should get the 5th most ping pong balls.

Don't make an "at worst" when it's truly not the worst scenario here. You'll jinx us. Kings absolutely love to ruin long term plans with silly upsets. We need to tell the refs to start calling more fouls on Cousins and tell Tyreke he's our only deep ball threat. He's shooting far too little from that 20% area nowadays. Also, Terrance Williams is playing for his NBA life. He will have none of this tanking business.

I donno man I really fear we're gonna end with 2-3 wins in the games we have left.
against who? the Bobcats, yeah, I'd give you that one, but apart from that it's all strong teams jockeying for playoff seeds and a Portland team that's been playing reasonably well since hitting the reset button and featuring the mighty JJ Hickson looking for revenge. even the Bobcats, having locked up the worst record might decide to play basketball again. not that it matters much, as every team that could will jump the Kings in the lottery, but 6th pick sounds a hell lot nicer than 7th.

Spurs, 3rd game in 3 nights and we have 2 days break.

Yeah, we were just outside the cut-off point of that draft. I wonder where the lines of demarcation are for this draft?
Good question, and we won't know till we see who declares. If most of the expected players declare, then its a deep draft, and some players that would have been top five last season, might end up being picked out of the top ten. Like a Perry Jones. I think Sullinger who was a certain top 5 pick last season, could easily slide down to 8 or 9 in this draft. We'll know more in a couple of weeks.

I'll acknowledge the possibility of that happening (especially with how Poppovich just doesn't care whatsoever about seeding) but I remain sceptical. The Spurs are unbeaten in these back-to-back-to-backs and even their quasi d-league team put a scare into the Jazz.
