If John Salmons played like he did in that second quarter all season, we probably wouldn't have been ready to have him sleep with the fishes.

Jimmer fans are delusional. He's been godawful most of the year. Make him the 60th pick and IT the 10th and we may even have D-leagued him to let him "work out the kinks". And he's had many chances. The dude averages over 20 minutes a game while shooting 38% and getting burned on D.

Now he is welcome as all hell to pull his head out and start playng like this all the time. But sniveling about how he hasn't had chances is a load of crap. Kobe Bryant averaged 15.5min a game his first season. But Jimmer hasn't had a chance? Try he has not earned a chance.

Maybe this will turn things for him, who knows. Be welcome. The gunner off the bench role is very much open and available to the first player to show a shred of competency amongst that group. If Jimmer wants to step forward and take it, be a big boon for the team.

How many games could they possibly have any claim on earnign it? Now that IT is a starter, our bench is the most pathetic statistical crew in teh elague. Not a single player int he whole crew is shooting even 40% on the season. Except Donte. Who of course per his sual gets rewarded for mild competence by not being allowed to play anymore.

He has had some good games and good efforts though. It takes some guys longer than others to get used to the speed of the NBA game and how fast everything is. Another thing is though, guys get better with more playing time and practice time. I know he hasn't been great but I don't think when some of our other young guys were playing poor or mediocre that you were saying "no don't let demarcus play, he shoots only 43 percent for a big man and turns it over too much!" etc. Now I know DMC is more talented than Jimmer and our franchise cornerstone more or less, but come on man that is kind of hypocritical. IT has absolutely earned his PT but Jimmer needs to be able to play to learn and grow too. You were just so friggin eager to label him the next Quincy Douby or Chris Quinn it seems like you barely even give him a chance dude. Chill out.
