I am wondering, how many of us are willing to come to City Hall to show our support to save our Kings and to build a new arena? The meetings take place on Tuesday evenings and begin around 6:00pm.

I need a count of those who are in 100%.

No maybes.

Here We Stay is planning on holding a rally at City Hall and I am trying to gauge as to how many from Kings Fans would attend.

I am in so that's 1 so far.

Do you know what time they want to hold the rally? I'll have to take time off from work. I really want to be there, though.

It needs to be good numbers so I agree about people committing to be there.

We're discussing a meeting time of 5:30pm. There's also a specific date to attend to be efficient although attending every Tuesday meeting has been advised to me by someone at City Hall.

This thread probably got buried beneath an avalanche of other threads.

I would go, but I unfortunately have class at that time in Davis.

I plan on attending the city council meeting. Almost impossible to get there by 5:30, for me. It's an hour and a half drive from work. Honestly, 'm not sure I want to take leave time, with so little response. :(

I cant go but I put it out there on twitter for people to show up. You guys need to get this out there on twitter and faceboook for people to see, not on here. There's not enough people who even read the arena section to get a great response.

It's official. Just got the e-mail from the Here We Stay folks.

We need everyone to show up to City Hall (9th and I Streets in Downtown Sacramento) by 5:30pm.

We will begin the rally at about that time and walk in as a group just before the meeting begins at 6:00pm.

Here We Stay has a few that will speak to the council and are looking for a few more volunteers.

We should be done around 7:00pm or so.

We need to spread a positive message and not be negative.

The media has been invited and will be there.

You can bring family, friends, posters, banners, signs, etc.

I will be there and I would like a final count of those who will be attending. Thanks!

To me, it seems like it'd be the opposite of effective and productive to have a show of strength at a location where we know KJ won't be.

The rally is scheduled for 5:30 PM on Tuesday March 15th, not tonight. Tuesdays are city council meeting nights.

OK folks this is it. In less than 24 hours the Here We Stay group will be holding a rally at City Hall.

Below is information from the Here We Stay folks.

I will be wearing my Kings road jersey and military BDU cap. Also, I will be there by 5:30pm. Hope to see as many folks from here as possible and please feel free to say hello.

When: 5:30 p.m. (rain or shine)
Where: City Hall, 915 I Street, Downtown Sacramento
What to bring: signs, posters, banners and a loud voice.

Following the rally outside of city hall, attendees will file into the council chambers around 6 p.m. where a few folks will address the council during the public comment portion of the meeting. Speakers are encouraged to bring a positive message to the podium.

I plan on being there. Taking an hour of my vacation time to get there from Oroville by 5:30. Might bring a couple of family members with me.
