Pacers are pretty pathetic at PF so maybe they would be one team interested in Landry and resigning him. Of course we'd be bringing in yet another young potential type SF.

There's not much to watch here yet. I know he's stuck behind Danny Granger and all, but he's had 21 DNP-CDs in 32 games for a not-terribly-good Indiana team.

George does have some potential, but I'm not at all sure where the Kevin Durant comparison comes from. Maybe a Gerald Wallace with a better shooting touch, if he gets it together. A bit early to call all-star potential on him - he shot up in popularity kind of late in the draft process due to his athleticism, but he's far from a finished product.

He's a great talent.

Fantastic defender, has great size, great ball handeling and he shoots preety well... he hasn't been given any chances in Indiana.. only the other day he got some playing time he had 13 points 7 rebounds and 5 steals.

I like Paul George, and said prior to the draft that he's one of those guys that in five years or so, people will wonder why he wasn't drafted higher. I don't see the comparison to Kevin Martin at all. They don't look alike, and their games are entirely different. George is a much more physical player than Martin will ever be. And he's a long long way from being compared to Kevin Durant, who may be one of the top 3 or 4 players in the NBA. In short, he hasn't proved diddley squat yet. I didn't watch the game where he got 13/7/5, but my guess is that it came in garbage time, and if not, my apologies to George.

His biggest weakness in college was his basketball IQ, and his outside shot, which improved as his year went on. In other words, he was very raw. He did well in the workouts prior to the draft and fared well at the combine. There's no doubt he's a very good athlete. So I like him and think he has a chance to be a very good player down the road, but I think we need to temper our enthusiasm back just a little

I remember him saying in an interview before the draft that he wanted to be one of the all-time greats.
Well....he has a lot to prove at this point in his career.

I haven't seen him play much in Indiana this season, but I did watch all the games played in the Orlando summer league.
And he just looked very, very passive out there. Lance Stephenson looked like the lottery pick, while George looked like the 2nd rounder.

With all that said, he's a good athlete and looks as if he could be a player down the line. I would take a flier on him if I had the opportunity. If the Pacers were a cap-heavy team, I'd look into taking on some of their salary, but they are set to clear 30 million after this year, so we'd most likely have to trade one of our young guys if we wanted to pick him up.

if we could get George , it would be most sick talent in the league of next 3~5 years

Tyreke/Cousins/Whiteside/George/next year 1st round pick is the most talent group. Just fun to watch!

Pacers would ask some our good player like landry,Casspi,beno....etc

despite our 1st round pick, I won't mind they took our 1 or 2 good player ,

It is a gamble, but trust me, George is worth for do it.

I'd definitely trade Landry for him. he could be an exciting player on offense and a better shooter and more athletic than Tyreke which I think is a good match together

Tyreke/George/Casspi/JT & whiteside/ Cousins wouldbe an interesting lineup. and we could release donte or trade him. Paul George will be way better than donte Greene ever will be

I like Paul George too. I thought he was one of the better all-around talents in the draft last year, but is there any indication that the Pacers are looking to trade him?

Actually the speculation has been around Granger. And if they were to trade Granger, I doubt they would move George. Unless they got another SF in return that they considered better. I like George, but some are getting just a little carried away. He hasn't proven anything yet.

From ROTOWORLD NEWS

Pacers president Larry Bird said that head coach Jim O'Brien's job is safe through the end of the season, when his contract expires.

It's hard to imagine O'Brien getting a new deal, but Indiana is better off with at least some stability through the end of the year. Bird prefers to use his assets (i.e. expiring contracts and draft picks) to make a trade before the deadline, rather than waiting until free agency this summer, and he said that he wants to keep Danny Granger and get him help, rather than trading him away.
