Picked up Forza 3 today, waiting for wifey to pick me up at work since I had to video a lecture tonight and hopefully I can sneak an hour or two in and get some use out of the wheel that's been sitting in the corner for a while now.

I'm not big on racing sims, but Ive playing Forza 3 for a little over a week and I must say this game is great. The level of detail of the cars are a amazing. Good to see Gran Tourismo has some serious competition now.

Got about an hour in last night, since I like racing the everyday cars most it was a lot more fun for me than the demo.

NBA Live 10.... just traded nba2k10 for it the other and thank God... im having soo much fun with right now!!!!

It's a shame though because ive been a fan of the 2k series from 2005 to 2009, but theyve just gone a step down this year.

Weird going back to live after being a fan it from live 98 to live 2004, but its just shown steady improvement over the years, expecially the disaster of Live 07, and it's won my heart back.

Also playing COD 4, Fifa 10 and Halo ODST...

Would love to get Forza 3 though!!! Hopefully next week

I've been playing COD MW2 single player campaign for a couple of days now and I have to say, its and it is an absolutely amazing game. I won't give any spoilers away being that the best part of the game IMO is the story, but I will tell you that it is as good, if not better than the COD4.

Yeah I'm on Raining Blood for over a year now off n on. And I'm stuck on the 2nd solo on Green Grass. I'll pass that one eventually, but I dunno if I'll ever beat Raining Blood, that part at around the ~30% point is crazy

Well, I finished Rock Band not long after I posted this ^. And recently I FINNNALLY passed Raining Blood, and then beat Lou 2 days later after 10 or 11 tries. Which is weird, because I have pretty much given up playing guitar and just picked it up and gave it a go.

Playing through Fallout 3 again to get the last trophies (well, last trophies excluding the DLC stuff, which are the Level 8, 14 and 20 with Neutral karma trophies) and then I'm gonna start on the DLC Broken Steel. I'm also playing through Final Fantasy X again, seeing as how I never finished it before because I stranded myself with low levels at the last boss and I couldn't travel back to level up. Assembling your blitzball team is fun

I've gotten hooked on MW2. Not big on shooters but when half your friend list is playing the same game every night it gets hard to ignore.

Thought I'd resurrect this from the dead. I've finalllllllly gotten around to picking up Modern Warfare 2, and I've been hooked since the beginning. The Special Ops mode is a nice addition. Also been playing God of War 3, which IMO is EPIC. Other than that I've just been playing the same old stuff like Fallout 3 and Guitar Hero. I've decided to return to school last year so the money has gone scarce.

Bought NCAA Football 11 but wasn't that impressed by it, i'm gonna use it just for importing draft classes into madden 11, other than that i'm still playing nba 2k10 and modern warfare 2

Red Dead Redmption is an awesome game, can't wait till they put out some more downloadable content for it, i heard there was gonna be a zombie mode or something coming out this fall for it

There were a lot of complaints that the changes were for the worst and it made it too arcadey, like once you ran so many transitions they would automatically go through. It's been patched and I haven't really played since then to see if it's better or not. To me it was still fun and I bought just for the roster update and to play guys like Jon Jones.

The Career mode has a lot of extra junk thrown in and you have to really manage your stats because if you don't train in an area you will lose points (though there are certain hold points that you will never go lower than).

I like the game but it feels more like a refinement on the original (southpaws, extra disciplines, ability to learn whatever move you want) that introduced its own issues.

Wow, you dug this one up from the archives haha. And no, not playing FIFA. Right now I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas, Crysis 2, Madden 11 and NHL 12. Don't have as much time as I used to for gaming though

Yeah I just searched for FIFA and this came up near the top. And nobody gets anal about necroposting here. So why bother with a new thread?

I don't have as much time either but now that my kid is pushing 3 he wants to sing with me in Rock Band a lot (even if its the same 10 songs over and over and over) so I do get some time.

I haven't played any music games in some time now. I still enjoy it but I have no desire to pick up any of the new(er) ones. I think they (moreso GH but RB to an extent as well) were beating a dead horse after GHWT & RB2.

And I just saw the commercial for FIFA 12. It looks pretty amazing

RB3 had some great features but sadly the single artist games, even the Beatles one, probably sunk the genre. Guitar Hero is mostly to blame though, but really RB did not need a Green Day game. It took a lot longer than I expected for it to hit the bargain bin though.
