Kings @ Cavs Game Thread, 3/28, 12 noon PST

The drudgery continues.

The Kings must keep slogging through this mess to end the season. I have begun to worry about the team's developing mental toughness. I think half the team is just ready to go on summer vacation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Boston Celtics made the Kings look like a bruised up punching bag. The scores could easily have been separated by 25 at the final buzzer. For anyone to believe that the Kings actually battled back (opposed to being let back in), is folly. The Kings weren't expected to win and nobody seems to have really payed any attention to the game. Well, apathy is the sort of feeling that settles in with TDOS approaching.

Carl Landry played well. Beno Udrih continued to put up respectable numbers. Hawes strained his back.

Meh. The Boston game wasn't worthy of a footnote.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Awards:

TDM - Rondo was the eastern beast.

LW-VC - Brian Scalabrine. You would find him only on a team like Boston.

JHA - OM-RI-----CASS-PI----- Wake up and beat up the Cavs.

MIKKI - Nocioni couldn't hit the side of a barn.

SAR- Rasheed Wallace once had the talent to be one of the best. Now he's angry AND slow.

RA&1 - Garcia did more of nothing

WTF/JT moment of the game - The awkward crawl back into it in the fourth.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Cavs are waiting to pounce and kill. They got Varejao and James on the DTD. If you are hoping to tune in for some Lebron I got bad news, he may just skip this one.

Predictions (Lebron plays scenario)

Kings 89 / Cavs 111

PTS: Landry 20 / James 39
Asst: Udrih 9 / James 7
Rbds: Thompson 10 / Jamison 10
Blks: Thompson 2 / O'neal 1

Probable Starters

Udrih / Williams: Draw
Casspi / Parker: Draw
Greene / James: James runs Greene over
Landry / Jamison: Landry could win.
Thompson / Hickson: Essentially the same player potential wise. Hickson can be a challenge.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The game is at noon. What else are you gonna watch? (NCAA basketball?)

GO KINGS!!!

Casspi and parker were in the same team together ( Maccabi tal aviv)
and they both used the number 18 ( 18 = live ) in israel
if i remember casspi was good vs the cavs last game
i hope this will be the good game
i will also enjoy lebron dunking

btw this is probably the only game in the season i can watch at a regular time ( 7 pm
most of the games i wake up at 1-4 pm)

If I remember Casspi was good vs most teams in that period. It was after the allstar break that he just began flat out sucking

Wow.

When it rains it POURS

Jason Jones via twitter said:
Kings pregame injury report, and not it's not good. No Hawes, Cisco, Reke, May or Brockman. Casspi's sick, but will play
And its Big Z's return. Who is going to be our secondary ball handler, Donte? Dorsey as our only big man off the bench? Noc at 4?

I guess the "wounded dog" mentality is our only hope :(

We'd lose at full strength anyways. No difference for ping pong ball odds. It's the games against the clipps, pacers, and wolves that matter.

Does Beno really have 10 assists right now????? Unreal! And that's with Casspi missing a wide open dunk and Ujoka missing a mide open layup. That would have been 12 assists.
