was his foot out of bounds? can it be reviewed? I can't see the game....can someone please tell me?
They're talking about it on nbatv. Westphal was looking right at his foot. I'm guessing his heel never touched the ground, because Westphal didn't react much.

If anyone blames the refs on the final play, they are idiots.....

We NEVER should have let the game end the way it did. We had control early, and it is OUR fault we lost....

Kobe's foot WASN'T out of bounds, and Kobe set a GREAT screen and Sergio fell......Good play by Kobe...What else is new?

Man.....This sucks.

Phantom Fouls in crunchtime moments, non calls for our players, having to earn respect from a referee? rediculous,

The game of basketball was never meant to be diminished or disregarded in this way, why even make rules and regulations if you don't uphold the same standards from game to game or player to player

Lets just stop the blame game. Go home. And accept the fact the refs cheat for the Lakers, evil almost always prevails, and being a fan of the Kings means heartbreak 100% of the time. Prepare for a similar game tomorrow.

No wonder there are so many Lakers fans. I guess it's just easier to get on NBA/Stern bandwagon and root for a Lakers win every time. Someday we will all be Lakers fans and then...oh wait, that won't work. Plan B Stern?

I hate this ****ing cheating league.
We were up 2 with 40 seconds left and they crooked refs bailed out the Lakers with that bull**** call on Shannon Brown. Not to mention if you breath on Kobe its a shooting foul. This league is so damn currupt it makes me sick. That POS David Stern just got another Kobe highlight to make money off of, thats all it is. Everything went his way.

they didn't miss those fts for us, or leave Kobe open
it shouldnt of even had to have come down to freethrows. so many bull**** calls .. brown falling into the lane and getting freethrows? wtf. that call lost us the game.

westphal screwed us too with the inbounds timeout. hawes was on a breakaway.

Kings once again choked at the line.

Westphal cost the team the game by calling that TO and robbing Hawes of the dunk.
don't blame westphal....that was so close to being violation he had to call a timeout....it all came down the free throws, if udoka made them, we win.

It was a ridiculous push off, I'm not going to go ballistic about it this game in this season. In the future he'll have a better defender on him. Sad to see Hawes career game go to waste though.

Did anyone seriously think the Refs were going to let the Lakers lose this game at home? They wouldn't even let us win at our home court last week, much less at Staples Center.
Oh please....the refs were fair throughout. The team played a great game on the road but lost to a vastly superior and more experienced team. The game was lost because of inexperience, missed free-throws, and....the fact that they were playing the defending champs with the greatest clutch player in the game (as much as it pains me to say that).

I hope Westphal does not say again, "we're young and we need to learn how to win these type games." Udoka is 32 years old and bricked last two FTs that could have iced the game. Then to let Bryant get completely wide-open with not a single Kings player w/in ten feet of him. Nothing to do with being too young - how about being fundamentally weak on defense in crunch time.

Beno was awesome though, and I really liked how JT kept himself in the game despite not being able to score. There were good things in this game. What was missing the most is the confidence that Tyreke brings. His confidence in himself spills over to the rest of the team. They have confidence in him and more in themselves because they believe they have a better chance to win. This was a learning experience, and better it be in the first half of the season than the last.

If you look at th replay, kobe forearms Sergio out of the way. Thats not a clean pick.

I'm not blaming the refs for Ime completely choking, and sergio having no clue about where he is on that last posession. Ime hits those ft's, we win.
