I believe.
But it will depend a lot more on how the team manages the situation with Martin more than what i believe.
If the FO can convince Martin and Evans to play a more team oriented BBall then we can make a run, not a tittle run maybe but a memorable one, if Martin is due to kill this chemistry then i say trade him for TMac and let Tmac rest at his home in houston until his contract expires (he is a cancer to have here).
I think almost all players on this team are able average or better offensive but not defensive. So that's why we need players like Udoka or Nocioni to come up in bigger games. Everyone can score here and there but on defense we have a few blackholes.

I'm not going to get into what I Beleive is going to happen to all of these kids and contributors to this team when in the next month or two all of a sudden we splash in 60 minutes of guys who have lost and lost some more for us over the years.
But I AM going to say that I believe if we could somehow, someway, add a major frontcourt player to this group without having to burn many of the current contributors, that we could legitimately make a run at a .500 season, and maybe even threaten the #8 spot. A 20+ win turnaround, and if the deal was big enough, maybe even threaten 30. Which is a heck of a thing.

I remember a while back at the beginning of the season, Grant Napier was interviewing Jason Thompson after a particular game that the Kings had played the night before (I don't remember which team). Before Jason had gotten on the air, Grant was talking to Mike about how even before that particular game, he didn't believe that the Kings had any chance of winning. It became somewhat of a debate between Mike and Grant for a little bit. Finally, when Jason got on the air, Grant asked him if he believed that the Kings could have won that particular game (with slight sarcasm). Jason said that of course he believed! You could tell that Jason was dead serious. Then, I remember Grant chuckling after Jason's answer, but said that it was great that Jason believed that the Kings could have won that particular game.
Well, it's not so funny anymore, because this team IS winning games!! This group of guys BELIEVED before this season ever started, and we are now seeing the results!!! I truly BELIEVE that great things are in store for this team!!

...and yes this is a corny homer thread, but I love it!! They just beat a top 3 western conference team without their best player, against all odds, with grit, hard work, determination, sacrifice, and believing in themselves! What's not to like! Call me a homer if you want, but I believe in this team. I believe they are going to the playoffs! I believe that when Martin comes back, this team is going to go on a tremendous run that will turn heads! I believe I believe, I BELIEVE !!!
