Slowly but surely gaining some respect?

19 (25) Kings 5-4 Fitting that Houston was the victim Saturday night when the Kings extended their miraculous, shocker-of-the-season start to 5-4. Sacramento's scrappy play without the injured Kevin Martin strikes us as very Rockets-esque.

Also, from the NBA.com power rankings:

Kings - #19 (24):

"The Kings have outrebounded their opponents by 52 over their last three games. Jason Thompson is averaging 20.2 points and 11.6 boards over the last five. Sacramento's young core looks a lot better than it did before the season started."

These Kings, ladies and gentlemen, are getting the respect they deserve.

Those "experts" are finally paying attention to our beloved team:eek:

I was going to post that latter set (from nba.com)...until I noticed that that guy had the Hawks #1, at which point I decided to bail. ;)

Lol come on, they deserve it. As of today, the Hawks are possibly the best team out there. They have the best Eastern Conf. record, and beat some teams nobody expected them to. I think those rankings are kinda accurate;)

I had us at #30.
Better chance for Wall:rolleyes::rolleyes::D
As long as there is a memphis, minnesota, new york, new jersey, golden state, la clippers, and a washington. I think our Wall hopes are gone. Of course as we found out last year it don't matter if we have the worst record or not.

I guess I'm in the minority but I'm pretty happy with our draft pick. I'd rather see the excitement I'm seeing right now with Evans than watch a #1 pick sitting on the bench because of injury before he ever played a season game.

Nitpicking, I know, but Griffin more than likely wouldn't have the injury had we drafted him. Although, with our luck, he may actually have completely blown out his knee!

Are you kidding? Griffin not have the injury???? Dude, remember what team we're talking about here...the team who had a center break his hand stepping over a moving box in the middle of the night, the team who had a different center break his leg taking a jump shot in practice. If Griffin were on the Kings, he'd probably have lost a limb, not just hurt his knee.

;)
