That's because two huge groups (not mutually exclusive) have left the discussion:
1) those who think the outcome is too uncertain to argue about, and
2) those who think there's no point in arguing about it anymore until there are some games to look at.
Deduct those groups, and you're down to a handful of posters. Neither side can win the argument, since there won't be any new evidence until October, all you can really do now is to troll (and be trolled by) the other side.
