im outta thread but who cares, did you all just see Wade outjump Kobe on the jump ball with less than a minute left? DW is amazing!

And Kobe awnsers on the other end, what a good game .....

Unbelievable action, Wade just blocked two shots in a row with 20 seconds left

I don't normaly complain about every little personal move in the game but seriously why is Mikki in with 2 minutes left? he does NOTHING
Because, believe it or not, Moore is more effective against Yao Ming than either Hawes or Thompson. And I think Jason Thompson may have bruised something with that spill he took. They may be keeping him out as a preventive measure so he doesn't miss more time later in this road trip...

new definition of the word "effective" considering we held Yao so far to 11-13 from the field and 8-9 from the line for only 30 points:p

at what point do we start to hold Petrie responsible for this mess? how much med-high paid garbage do we have on our roster? KT, MM, SW, QD, BU, BM, the ghost of SAR. GP is responsible for signing these players to our roster. He is no longer an upper tier GM based on the last five years of crap signings. Not to mention making KM our "marque" player. He just flat out does not have what it takes to be elite. Peja reincarnated. Hawes and JT are bright spots but everything else is ?????? why ??????

I didn't say he was effective. I said he was "more effective"... I still think Thompson may have hurt himself and Hawes wasn't doing much of anything. I don't have a problem with leaving Mikki out there as the sacrificial lamb. It's not like anyone was going to be doing really good against Yao Ming.

As I watched the game tonight..I think that the Kings needed to play almost perfect basketball tonight to get a win i.e make every shot, get stops on defense, make freethrows, get calls etc.

I agree with the above poster talking about GP..he's the one who put this team together and should be held responable for all these losses.

Oh wait. So we don't want to truly rebuild? We want to continue to struggle along, winning just enough games to guarantee continued suckitude?

We're going to lose a lot of games this season. You need to embrace that fact if you want to retain your sanity.

We're REBUILDING. This isn't a finished product. It's a work that's finally in progress; you cannot possibly think this current assemblage of players is what Petrie had in mind as his end goal...

I don't understand the Miki for Hawes trade in the 4th quarter. Hopefully, someone will ask Natt why he did that. Personally, Hawes can stink it up for 3 quarters and I'd still put him in there instead of Miki. At this point you just have to shrug and give Natt about a month to get a feel for being a head coach.

So VF21, where exactly does signing SAR, BU, MM, drafting QD, trading for a washed up Bobby J (publicity stunt) and whatever other moves GP has made us better or advanced our rebuilding process. Every move mentioned above has set us back. When is the last time we got over on a GP signing or trade? 1999?

They all have, but drafting Kevin, Cisco, Spencer, and Thompson, and getting Greene back with BJax (the real purpose) have all been moves made for the future, albeit mostly passive moves.

Now the time has just come for Petrie to quit coasting and make the rest of the rebuild happen.

What Petrie needs to do now is get some of these vets off the team so the coach doesn't even have the option of putting them in over the young guys. He isn't going to sit the vets, and he isn't going to sit the young guys. Problem is there isn't enough room for all of them.

Miki - 0 rebounds in 20 minutes

Hawes - 9 rebs in 26 minutes.

I think coach is going to have some second and third thoughts about not playing Hawes more. I do like the fact that he wants to continue to go to Hawes in the low post in order to get him better though. The same goes for playing Greene in crunch minutes.

Well, Salmons' trade value has got to be the highest its ever been, so it's now or never.

Brad and Hawes were very tired at the end of the 3rd (when we were giving up a run) yet Natt left them both on the floor until the 4th. Then in the 4th Spencer didn't see the court until 50 seconds left in the game  WTF is that about. If I am spencer I am asking him why in the phuckel are you putting me in now. Then beno is out and Brown doing just fine yet you go with B-jax the rest of the game?

Kenny Natt = shorter, fater, balder Reggie Theus. In fact Natt may end up being worse about playing the young guys.
