If this team loses 50+ game with Spencer, Jason, and Martin playing like they did tonight its fine by me.

Just keep developing these young guys and hope we get a shot to add a good young pg like Jrue Holiday or Ricky Rubio and this season is a success.

Geez, VF, relax a little, would ya?

We go through a 1-7 preseason, and not a peep outta me. We're probably going to have a 1-7 start on the regular season too, and I don't mind, because we're rebuilding. One sardonic comment about AJ, yes, but it's only because we're going to need to have our senses of humor handy this year.
Nope. Not gonna relax when some people - and I'm talking in general terms right now - act as though we're an elite team that should come out and beat one of the East's strongest teams. We're REBUILDING, and there's a lot to be happy or at least hopeful about. I don't think I referred to any of your points in particular. What actually gets me is when people continue to dump on Kenny Thomas for no reason or act as though our team is not putting forth any effort.

We're seeing the beginning of some great careers, IMHO. Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes, along with Shelden Williams were very impressive tonight, at least to me. And Kevin lit it up like we knew/hoped he would/could...

People who understand we're rebuilding don't vex me. Those, however, who will accept nothing but wins at this point and actually say they're humiliated by our Kings really gall the crap out of me.

If they're that humiliated, they might want to jump on the Celtics bandwagon.

Okay, I've taken a deep breath and I'm sorry if I over-reacted. It's all good...and this team is going to be fun to watch. They'll learn and they'll improve and we'll be there for the whole ride.

It's a good time to be a Kings fan.

:) Thanks, i know we will disagree at times but i just dont want to be known as the negative guy on here. I just get really frustrated because im not used to the whole rebuilding thing. Man...how did some of you survive during the early kings years?
It wasn't as hard to deal with back then because we had never done anything. We didn't know what it felt like to have a good team.. we pretty much always sucked but loved our squad to the end. Oh my goodness.. just reminded myself of that road losing streak we had.. we lost like 43 games in a row on the road at one point. lol

the Kings were out rebounded 28 to 40, outscored in every quarter, and allowed 15 offensive rebounds to our 6... What's not to love:rolleyes:.

I'd prefer Rubio or DeRozen.

Griffin seems kinda redundant (a no defense having big with prodigious offensive skills)....Plus I'm on the JT bandwagon. He's our future PF! haha.

Anyways.... Pretty much what I expected in a game that pit our inexperienced frontcourt (and Moore haha) against Superman. Good to see Martin had his bounce back game. Hopefully he'll get in a groove and start lighting teams up like he's supposed to! :p

Well, I almost became an alcoholic as a result of those years. I tried to join a monastery for repentance, thinking I was being punished for my sins, but they said I drank too much.:p

I'd like to remind everyone that game discussion threads are closed after the game. If you really want to discuss draft possibilities, dream trades, etc. you have the Personnel Moves forum available.
