It's too early. Training camp has not even opened. The roster is fairly set but, we don't know for sure exactly who will make teams final cut at 11-12-13 slots. I think Kings probably will win enough to make it has high as 9th overall in WC since teams like Golden State, Denver, LAC, will probably not win as many games as last season. Sacramento could go .500 or a bit above, with Coach Theus having a goal of 50 wins. At least he won't project a championship ala Artest. I'd be glad to make a final projection on # of wins after training camp.

I reserve the right to vote again after training camp and practice games are over. I don't think it will change much though. :p

Given our player makeup and or Artest trade for younger players, I think the answer to that should be fairly obvious. There may be surprises--players develop faster than expected, players continue to take their lumps but don't really improve, etc--but that's all within a margin of error of perhaps +-5 at best--so it shouldn't make much of a difference.

I'm picking 50+ since, at this moment in time, I'm still in the "We're gonna win 98" camp. Of course, that camp gets broken down, moved, etc. many times over the course of the season, but in September hope still springs eternal.

Wish I could be more optimistic, but I'm saying 28 wins...came to my conclusions looking at our schedule & how we'd match up: threw in a few upsets and upsetting losses for good measure.

However, as a fan, I want as many wins as possible & I look forward to the new team. Wouldn't mind my prediction being way off come April...

You could be more optimistic if you really wanted to. It's not like you're going to be fined for being wrong or anything.

41-41, having avoided the injury bug, and kicked a lot of teams without their best players. If the bug bites back it could get ugly though...

Last year I said 38 and we won...38. ;)

this year I say 36 with the proviso that if we decide to trade Brad or John during the season maybe more like 33.

Still too early for the official prediction thread. I voted 30-35, but you can expect me to launch the official prediction thread during pre-season and before the first game.

I also think in the 35-41 range, but let's see how we look after camp as far as progress and injuries.....

For the moment I went with 30 to 35. Its way too early to tell at this point. We should rerun the poll after the pre-season games have been played. We'll have a better idea of what the team looks like by then. Just too many unknowns right now.

Did anyone else notice that his poll is flawed. I thought they would win 41, and I could put that answer in for either the 35-41 spot, or the 41-50 spot...Same goes for 35. Someone might want to fix that.

I'm going to say 43 wins this season....the West is still ridiculous but I don't think its as tough as last year. I think it will take 47+ to make playoffs thoe. I feel like we will be better than last year mainly because of how much our team got shifted around with the injures/suspensions/trades last year and i feel like those things won't plague us nearly as much this year but with Miller getting suspended for the first 5 games were not starting off good in that respect..lol. Who knows thoe, Miller getting suspended opens up the door for Hawes who could come out with a Bynum like start of the year.

I'm thinking either high 20's or low 30's. I picked 30-35 with the roster as is, but if we trade Brad or John at the trade deadline to get cap room, probably high 20's.

IMO we'll win way more than everybody thinks. 40-50.
I tend to agree, even though it's early (before pre-season look). Coach Theus almost willed the team to .500 last year even with the horrendous hand he was dealt and taking over from Muss mess that produced debacle, 33-49. Even without Artest who did "bring it" when he played, but still missed like a dozen games - I think an additional 5-10 wins oven last season is possible. I said earlier that I think the Warriors, Clippers, and Nuggets will not win as many games this season as last - although the Blazers will win a lot more. So the Kings may rack up some wins against those teetering teams, lose some to a rising Blazers power, but in the end have quite a few more wins than last seasons 37 total.
