How do they honor Webber and Divac?

BUT, however they decide to do it, I hope they do it soon. I know that some say we should wait until the new arena, but even if the arena was going to be completed in the foreseeable future, I would still want to see their jerseys hang in Arco first.
I understand the arguement of having the jerseys hang from the rafters of the building Webb and Vlade actually led us to the glory days. But I think the symbolism of starting off the first game at the new arena (throwing salt over left shoulder) is worth the wait.

Both christening the new venue with the memories of our most successful team and establishing the identity we hope to achieve in the new building ... while simultaneously honoring the best tandem of the Sacramento era during an already electric night at ... Arco III(?). The proverbial cherry on top of the new arena sundae.

I think we're all in consensus that it should be done. Some prefer sooner than later, but I think with this monumental event on the horizon, we can wait just a while longer.

If the new arena was approved tomorrow, it would still take at least three years if not more to actually complete. The Maloofs are not going to wait that long to salute these guys. They're going to ride the returning interest in the Kings by honoring the two guys from the team that was "hosed out of a title." I'm betting it will happen during the early part of the 2008-2009 season. There's just no reason to wait any longer. And if they do wait and the arena deal doesn't come to fruition, it would be another missed opportunity. I don't think they're going to be willing to take that chance.

I would like to see those two guys’ numbers retired at the same time. I think it would really powerful and emotional and the feeling in the building would be amazing…But I wouldn’t mind if we retired their numbers separately. But we really do need to show respect to those two and hopefully really soon.

Their numbers should be retired this coming season.
The numbers should be retired together or in back to back games as Brick described. Of course it is an individual recognition, but 21 and 4 combo was and is unique and those two players are tied together forever.
10, 13 and 16 should not be retired, but maybe a team banner should be put for the Kings team of THE era. Don't think Stern would like it, if it was 2002 Kings team banner, though. ;)

I just dont think its time yet. Right now its stormy weather I feel a better time would be when the Kings have a solid squad again ready to make a run for the gold. Kind of like a passing of the torch thing.

Maybe in 2010 when lebron's a king;)

Like so many here, I think it would be a better option to retire the two jerseys together. They both worked together to lift the Kings to the top and I don't think it would have been possible for either of them without the other. When any mention is brought about the "glory days," nobody thinks about Chris but not Vlade or vice versa. With that being said, I think it would be very special to them and also to the fans if the ceremony was held on a night where the game was nationaly televised. This way, during the half time show they could show clips of Arco honoring the two players to all the viewers.
