I think that's different, for several reasons.
1) Everyone knows wrestling is scripted, so it's like going to a movie: you know the outcome has already been decided, so it's just entertainment for a couple of hours. You're not depressed when your favorite loses. Maybe you are; I don't watch wrestling. Which brings me to #2...
2) I don't watch wrestling.
3) The NBA is supposed to be a competitive League, with 30 different owners all looking to win, all of them subject to the same rules to incite competition. For you to be a fan of the NBA despite your belief that it's fixed -- and even be a fan of one particular team, hoping that they win, despite the odds -- is ridiculous. It's not reasonable.
I know we've dealt with this before, but I don't understand how someone can believe that the refs and the League literally "cheat" for certain teams in the playoffs, and still be a fan. That's just nuts to me.
