Been utterly ridiculous since his return.

I'll go ahead now and throw in the obligatory realism note: obviously he's not going to shoot 80% for the rest of the season.

Didn't Webber come back and have two good games in 2004, and then went on a huge slide? I think making the assumption that Kevin will keep this up might be a little too optimistic.

It may be a mild fluke, but not a complete one; he's been consistently ranking up there in Hollinger's True Shooting Percentage Calculation, and there's always that 50% FG-40% 3FG-90% FT possibility about his scoring game. The guy just knows how to score and take good shots.

No, he really hasn't. Before his return he was shooting 43% on the season. People still have that 50/40/90 thing on the brain, but he hasn't been there since the first couple of months of last season before defenses adjusted. He finished the year last year on a long slide down to 47% shooting, opened this one struggling to find good shots to a 43% clip. He's on an amazing hot streak, but that's still what it is.

God, can people have any fun on these forums?

He responded to me, I responded to him. Everybody stayed polite and on point. Your role in that conversation is a little shakier.
That kingsfanese for I'm not part of the cool club?

Nice dodge of the question though. I usually enjoy reading these "Any questions?" threads especially with the utter infrequency of them this year.

K-mart did fantastically, probably one of the most efficient performance I, and most likely many of us, have ever seen. Can we at least save the negativity and reality, true as it may be, for some other more desolate thread?

I dodged the question only to avoid the insult which would naturally have followed -- something about some people equating fun = being stupid.

And in any case, as I was quoted and challenged on a point, I responded, as I do now. Inaccurate as the point may have been I doubt I would have bothered addressing it if it hadn't been addressed to me.

I will have you notice that you have now managed to hijack the very sort of thread for which you you profess love. Accordingly anything further should go through PMs.

Maybe one day but not just yet.

I understand that emotions are high right now but making a statement like that ...
