You know, sometimes I think Avery Johnson is wound too tight to be a great NBA coach. Barkley made a great point -- can't believe the Mavs changed their starting lineup for the 8th seed. And when Josh Howard was interviewed at halftime he sounded completely nervous. They'll still probably win the series, but the team is reflecting Avery's demeanor -- they look tight, scared, and too intense for their own good.

An 8th seed has won twice. The Knicks made the finals as an 8th seed and the Nuggets beat the Sonics in 1994.

But both of those were 5 game series. No 8th seed has ever won a 7 game series.
