Come on...how bad could "Anus Magillicutty" be?

Honestly, I've never heard of most of these movies and I haven't seen even one of them.

A young Pia Zadora is in that one. (Unfortunately, I did see this as a kid.)

Hahahahaha!!!

We just watched that a couple of weeks ago. They did it as a Mystery Science Theater 3000 Movie, where the 3 characters make fun of the movie throughout. Even with that........it was still horrible.:D

I seriously considered suing John Travolta, the estate of L. Ron Hubbard AND the Church of Scientology over this one. I want compensation for the 118 minutes of my life that I wasted, AND I want compensation for the brain cells that committed suicide while I watched it.

I thought your comments were funny enough...then I looked at those....uh.....costumes. Yikes! (I'll just stop right there)

I have not watched one of those and trust me I watch a lot of movies..

Disclaimer... I use IMDB raitings to see if I usually watch a movie... Anything under a 6 I don't watch. Almost a 7 but I give some a chance

Thanks, BW. Now I understand about the "rating" category. I see the highest rating in that list is a 2.6. That's a far cry from a 7. :D

HAHA just my own quirks... I watch some below but none on that list. LOL I am funny that way

I actually would like to see a thread that says... worst movies over the last 2 years. I could fill that baby up.

As a lifelong wrestling fan who has never liked Hulk Hogan, it amuses me greatly that he was the headliner in two of the fifteen worst movies of all time.

Having said that, I still maintain that this list is invalid without Woo on it.

I have seen a few more of those er..."movies" then I really should and am going to comment on a few. But before I do let me just note that that list is either not updated or there is some cutoff for simply not enoguh people having seen a movie, because I've got a pair here that clearly qualify ratingswise, and indeed which I would argue might be the two WORST movies I have ever seen. And I've seen a number of the ones on that list:

1) Alien 51 (1.9) -- http://imdb.com/title/tt0384803/ Would fit in at about #12-#15 on that list, and deserve to be higher as maybe the worst movie of all time. You would have to see this to believe it. Its big "star" was Heidi Fleiss. Its "alien"...well, you again would just have to see it. That it was made, let alone released, is almost inconceivable. That anyone would admit to having been a part of it even moreso.

2) Skeleton Man (1.7) -- http://imdb.com/title/tt0372832/ Would have been about #3 on the that list, and desrved every bit of the honor. Again...omg. Fascinating to watch in a way to see the abject humiliation of a couple of former "name" actors who once starred in Hollywood "A" movies, in Michael Rooker and Casper Van Diem. But just simply hilarious and apparently stitched together from several different movies/shoots. None of it makes any sense. At all. Their "monster" keeps changing outifts/horses from shot to shot because they couldn't shoot it all on one day and the rentals must have expired. There are random scenes from other movies thrown in that simply cannot be reconciled with the rest of the "film". Our heroes are tromping about the woods wearing sweat pants and flourescent thrift store backpacks as a team of "undercover" commandos because apparently there was no budget for army surplus uniforms. There is a hilarious scene starring an indian who likes beans. Its great stuff. :p

Anyway...as for the "real" list:

65. 2.4 Hercules in New York (1970) 4,329 -- this might be my "favorite" for a very young Gubernator completely humiliating himself in a wildly bizarre 70's flick. If more people had seen this, no way he gets elected. Let alone twice. ;)

80. 2.5 Jaws: The Revenge (1987) 8,119 -- this was the subject of one of the most hilarious standup routines I have ever seen by Richard Jeni (sp?). To say it was ripe for parody is a vast understatement.

58. 2.4 Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 (2000) 20,809 -- you know, after seeing this turd I ran over to imdb and gave it a "1" also. But after surverying the rest of the list, its practically a classic. Think it was really more just the spectacle of such a big $$ hubris-filled project falling so completely on its face. But it really did suck. Only reason I watched it in fact was after hearing how bad it sucked -- had to check it out on my own.

54. 2.3 Bolero (1984) 1,849 -- hey now! At least there were um...certian things to watch in this one. :p

20. 1.9 Ghosts Can't Do It (1990) 681 -- this one too. ;) Although the first one (Bolero) threw in a D'Abo sister as dessert, so it gets the overall nod I think.

94. 2.6 The Creeping Terror (1964) 1,153 -- love this movie for its awful early-60's badness. This is the infamous "carpet creature" wherein the monster is quite literally about 10 people walking around holding a large carpet over their heads -- can even see their feet in a lot of shots, and when it "eats" someone you can clearly see the hands come out of the front of the carpet (its "mouth") to pull them underneath. Whole thing is done in voice over to. Hilarious classic monster movie cheese.

37. 2.2 Alone in the Dark (2005) 10,570 -- this had to be seen to be beleived. They released this to the theater. With trailers mind you. Christian Slater looked completely mortified to be involved. Might get my vote for worst major studio theatrical release I have ever seen. Completely utterly nonsensical. But kinda hilarious in the process.

As a self proclaimed movie junkie I unfortuantly have seen more thna a fe of these Turkies and I ahve to say there is not one on the list I would argue against. Lenord Part 6 is so bad Cosby can actually look proudly at Ghost Dad... One otehr tiva note is that"
# 73. 2.5 The Hellcats (1967) 693 Stared B Actor Ronald Regan and Young Nancy Davis who he began a torid off screen affair with leading him to leave his then wife Jane Wyman. He did mary Nancy later though...

I originally thought I had only seen one of these terrible movies, then came to realize I'd seen 3 of them but only 1 by my choice.

I wanted my 1:18min back after watching Battlefield.

I fell asleep during Hercules in New York, and I agree Brick, there definitely would have been less votes. ;)

I was very disturbed by Alone in the Dark. But, that one was by my choice and I'm happy to say I did not pay theatre prices to see it.

69. 2.4 Orgy of the Dead (1965) 846

There were way too many recent films on this list for me to take it very seriously, but I did have to single out this gem -- written by none other than the illustrious Edward D. Wood, Jr., it is easily one of my very favorite bad movies of all time. Kind of a cross between a monster movie and a stag film in which a young couple travel to a cemetery for... some reason or another... and are then briefly menaced before being subjected to a series of strip teases by zombie women, vampire vixens, etc. Brilliant. Been a while since I've seen it, but I'm pretty sure that all pretense of a plot is abandoned about 15 minutes in.

Although... this is coming from a girl who was genuinely disappointed by the fact that the special edition DVD of Russ Meyer's masterpiece, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, was not waiting under the tree.

If I remember right.... HINY was the Governators first movie... and his voice was dubbed becase his english was so bad at the time(Believe it or not.... Its actually great compared to then)

I could never stand Richard Jenni stand up or otherwise... I wanted him to meant Jaws up close.

(7) Santa with Muscles is with former Sacramento Goldminer and WCW Wrestler Bill Goldberg.... Never seen it though.

(99) Kickboxer 2. I actually somewhat liked that movie. With Sasha whats-his-name

(96) Poice Academy: Mission to Moscow .... This was trhe worse of them all. I loved most of them but this one made me want to strangle all who were in it...

(14) 3 Ninjas: High noon at Mega Mountain. How can anybody not like a movie by the late Sacramentan Victor Wong(Grandpa, Who taught them). He lived in Sac but was born and raised in Lock(Which is in the Delta)

LOL I would never watch a movie called "orgy of the dead"

Some recent ones I watched that can go in this cat...

The Good Sheppard. OMG 3 hours of just mindless junk that went nowhere
Garden State
Marine

That is movies I have watched in the last week. Horrible movies. Garden state can be debatable because it appeals to a crowd, I am not in that crowd...

Any police Academy is bad... I am down on the rocky as well.

Unfortunatly that list can't include some of the worst because of a lack of votes.

Pretty much anything by acclaimed director Andy Milligan can be added.

For example, Carnage...The movie about a newlywed couple moving into a house...Quickly, though, normal knifes, axes, and garden shears are pulled around by strings and create much havoc...Also a great ghost scene in there.

Others wonders from Milligan include.

-Surgikill
-The Bloodthirsty Butchers

And pretty much anything on this list.

"8. 1.8 From Justin to Kelly (2003) 11,360 "

Wow... Was it really that bad? I chose not to waste 90 precious moments of my life that I would never get back on it. That is, however, a lot of votes saying I did the right thing.

Plan 9 is so bad its good. This list includes movies bad enough to not turn the corner again. ;)
Exactly. This list appears to be movies that THINK they're good, but really are horrible instead. There is a difference between so-bad-it's-good movies, such as the creature-feature films shown frequently on the Sci-Fi Channel, and movies that were obviously made and meant to be decent but weren't.

I need to see the Return of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which got a 2.5 on the list.

I just watched Texas Chansaw 2, and it was so comically bad I could not believe it...Thats about all I can say about it...Anyways, I come to see if it's on the list, and it's not, and what's more it somehow has a 4.5 on imdb.

That will account for a fun night...Hopefully the local used discount movie store has it in stock.
