I’m listening to Velvet Revolver. I don’t know what the name of the song is, but it’s track#6 and I love it! My brother has been raving about VR for the longest time, so I borrowed my co-worker’s CD. I like them. Their sound is understandably a lot like STP and GNR, two of my favorite bands.

VR's all right. i was really hoping to see scott weiland try something a bit different post-STP, but VR suits him. he's better with camp freddy, though...and they'll unfortunately never release an album.

i was soooooo disappointed in this album. frankly, it sucks. it's incredibly diluted by some sort of hope for mainstream success. it's not a fun record like quality control or power in numbers. the beats are uninspired, it sounds too rehearsed, and it lacks the freestyle b-boy nature that made jurassic 5 so unique, even in the underground scene. i expected more from j-5. hopefully it was a product of laziness and we'll see j-5 back in top form on the next record.
