Get Sochan in here and maybe one more pick. As long as it isn't this year's ATL with the heavy protect I would be fine doing something in a year they have two where we get the best one outside of 1-10.
If this is the sort of package freaking ESPN is putting out there for us, there is really no reason to ask for less lol

beyond that most are just on the side of making moves just to make moves and the bigger the name the more excited. I hate it at least over here you can make a case why a move is good or bad beyond 240 characters.
I retreated from the internet in a big way about ten years ago. It was a personal choice made from a general frustration with the direction "Web 2.0" and social media had taken online technologies. The reason I still come here is because traditional online forums are well-positioned to facilitate robust and meaningful dialogue.

Yes, we're talking about human beings here, so pettiness and ego and bad faith abound anywhere you wander online, even on a forum like this. But it remains possible to create genuine community with others and engage in vibrant, fulfilling conversations in a way that social media cannot entirely replicate, because social media engagement is driven by an advertising model and a set of algorithms that were designed around a simple principle: "numbers go up". KingsFans.com and other forums like it may be a dying breed, but they are driven by their users, not by algorithms, and the users typically have no interest in "numbers go up". They have an interest in maintaining and supporting their community.

And personally, if what big tech refers to as "AI" is an indication of the shape of "Web 3.0", I am quite glad to have made the decisions I've made. I'll always come home to KF.com, but much of the rest of the modern internet can politely f*** off. ;)

And this is where his cautiousness could pay off if we have to move Deebo, Monk, and others. Hopefully not Domas because if nothing else he is the guy I'd like to have kicking young guys butts and urging them to go from the floor with Doug. But I would understand if the Fox missile that sunk the ship is too much. There's one person to blame for all of this though and that's @QWERTYLICIOUS.

Huh. I always thought it was losing TDOS desert island drafts that did you in.

Maxey is a tier above fox
I'm not sure I agree but ESPN had him 19 and Fox 25 to start the season. Ringer had Fox 19 and Maxey 30 last I checked.

I think the issue with Fox is he takes quarters and sometimes entire nights off whereas I don't watch enough 6ers games to offer an opinion on whether Maxey does.

Funny how Fox was a tier 1 player for a ton of dudes on this board, while myself and others were saying he was behind the likes of Luka/SGA/etc, you couldn’t go deep in the playoffs with him as your lead option, and we got crucified for it. Now, the takes are pretty much copying and pasting what we’ve been saying the last few years. If this is how our front office thinks and operates, it’s no wonder we are always miles behind the best organizations out there

So do the Utah trade and the proposed espn trade
We get 3-4 1st rounders and send 1 to Utah
monk/castle/carter
Ellis/carter/deebo
Debo/johnson/murray/sochan
Murray/sochan/collins
Sabonis/collins/len

Luka and SGA are top 10 talents, Fox is a top 20. I don't think there was much dispute except maybe how wide a gap that is. And the biggest barrier to Fox being top 10 or top 5 is that he loses focus (if you are generous) or just loafs it for stretches (if you are not generous).

Hahaha man, I love those TDOS desert island drafts! Miss 'em, honestly. But I am resolutely not the guy who's in-it-to-win-it. I regularly picked sh*t that would be considered "bad value" if you treat such a thing with competitive seriousness. I just like to share the stuff I like, and I enjoy engaging with the stuff that everybody else likes. And maybe get into an argument or two about the stuff we all like or don't like.

But the modern internet is just a dispiriting reality for me. Like many in my general age bracket, I was an overly optimistic college student as Myspace gave way to Facebook and YouTube, and as Web 2.0 really began to take shape, I naively imagined that it was going to shepherd forth a new era of information democracy, and that a kinder, more connected, more empathetic, more informed society would result from all of the "sharing" we were doing back then and beyond. I'm not sure I've ever been more wrong about anything in my life. The exact opposite happened. We became more insular, more alienated, meaner, colder, less connected, less empathetic, and somehow less informed despite all of the information we were ingesting on a daily basis. Our attention spans got shredded and the deep focus and critical thinking of many were also forfeit in the process. I noticed it in myself, and it made sense to me to retreat from it when I did.

These days I maintain a small handful of places online that I visit regularly... and that's kinda it. The internet for me is not the vast realm of possibility that it is for many. It's more like a few cozy, dimly lit rooms I enjoy wandering into every now and then because there are familiar faces for me to see that have gotten a bit older and wiser since we last spoke. KF.com is one of those places. It's the best of places online, as far as I'm concerned.

Deebo probably is gone if Fox is gone. So you send him off to a “contender” and can probably actually extend the team’s window a bit in the process.

Well that’s where I disagree. Fox is a top 10 talent. But he hasn’t translated that to top 25 impact. Equal to SGA and maybe better than Luka in talent. But there are at least 5-6 teams that would not trade their lead guard for Fox. Luka, SGA, Brunson, Hali, Maxey, Ja to name a few.

Sochan is the guy that matters most for me in any Spurs deal. Sill just 21, he's a defensive stud and has seen a massive efficiency boost this season. Defensive wings like him are pretty rare and him with Keon-Keegan is special defensively.

If it's between him and Castle, give me Sochan. But we should get both

I'm in agreement here. And while Pop forcing the square peg of Sochan into the round hole of the PG position was certainly great for their tank, it was also sneakily great for Sochan's overall development. He'll never be any team's lead ball handler, but in my opinion, he's a better playmaker today and a more efficient player overall because of how Pop pushed him initially, in addition to being a top flight defender on the wing.

The Heat deal is out the window cause of Terry being investigated for gambling his salary is needed to make it work.
There's still plenty of ways to make a Miami deal work. If the Heat really like Fox, Herro and Ware get it done.

And not that I'd advocate for it, but Rozier being investigated doesn't preclude him from being included in a deal AFAIK.

They'd be happy to send back Duncan Robinson I'm sure which means they had also better sweeten the deal.

To be fair, trading for a guy about to be banned from the league is totally something the Kings WOULD do.
