Scoreboard Watch/Playoff Standings Watch 2025 Edition

Next 7 games will keep me in "health hazard zone". Then I'll begin to look at the schedules at what other teams do more closely. Man, home game against Warriors, then in like 20 hours road game in Mile High city against Jokers.
We look how close Kings are from the promised lad of top 6 spots. As of right now spots 11-12 are closer. Teams ahead or behind Kings have loads of talent. I personally think that Kings roster was good enough for the first round home court play-off advantage at the start of the season. With MB gone and Monk starting, one game at the time, staying healthy - who knows what can happen.

Would be very interesting to see if we can get a top 6 spot and take on Houston or Memphis. People will count us out but i won’t, especially if we make a move before the deadline.

With the right move at the deadline I’m comfortable matching up with anyone maybe not the lakers though when you consider size and the kind of whistle they’d get

Clippers having that record without Kawhi is absurd
Motivated Harden with a good defensive team around him has always been a good recipe in the regular season. Helps that Norm Powell randomly decided to pop as a 24 PPG scorer at age 31. Zubac too has been a fringe all-star with an increased role.

If the get to a 7-game playoff series with a healthy Kawhi, they'll have as good a shot as anyone to take out OKC. Not very confident in that though.

Phoenix is like if Vivek didn't have to open a new arena and instead got to spend his first ~5 years of his learning curve throwing every last penny he had at superstars in their 30s and mortgaging the next decade to get the final piece that will get them over the hump.

Not sure if it was just dumb luck that continuously missing the playoffs kept us from shipping out more FRP for marginal returns or if Vivek was just a little too cautious because he isn't as rich as some other owners, but Mat Ishbia was hyped up a year or two ago as one of the best young owners in the game but is likely to have the main attraction in that arena be the $2 popcorn in 2 or 3 more years for lord knows how long.

So how does it feel when a team wins it all? lol
Lol. It feels pretty good. More relief than anything, but still good.

While my Dolphins and KINGS have yet to win anything since I've been a fan, I have been fortunate with my Buckeyes (football) and Tar Heels (basketball) and Dodgers.

This is the first time TWO of my teams have won titles during the same calendar season, so that's different. It should have happened in 2002/03, too, with the Buckeyes and KINGS -- but we all know what happened there.

My fandom for the Dolphins goes back the longest (since I was 6 years old) and they did win two titles during my lifetime. Unfortunately I was too young to even know about it. They and the KINGS are the ones I care most about so, of course, neither has won anything since I've been a fan. If/when that happens then I will really be able to answer the "how does it feel" question. I'll probably pass out from shock.
