"It's hard to win 5-on-8." Because the league is trying to fix games for (checks notes)... the Sacramento Kings?
Wait wait wait... does the script say "the league is against the Kings and thus Fox never gets call" or "the league is fixing games for the Kings"?

Are we rooting for the Corporation with The Rock or against it with Stone Cold?

The Game Thread Dude
That’s the first time I’ve ever complained about Fox. Dude just seemed not into for a majority of the game
I just think he saw Malik and Deebo cooking for most of the game and decided to hang back for some reason. When clutch time hit, he turned up the aggressiveness but was missing every shot he took up until the Rockets started fouling him

I know some people get excited about national tv games. I get it that it provides broader visibility to the players and the team. But I much prefer watching our local broadcast of a game.
I don't need personalities on the boardcasting team. Aren't the stars out there laying their bodies on the line to entertain us not enough?

Can we just get the facts and move on? Do we really need the color commentary?

So after 15 pages worth of people bitching and moaning about Fox, the Kings pretty much only win this game because Dillon Brooks couldn’t defend Fox without fouling him and De’Aaron’s become a good enough FT shooter to make them pay.
i dint get it. Are we only allowed to say positive things about a player when they are playing terrible? Nothing said was egregious imo

Strongly disagree. I saw one ineffective player on the Kings getting exploited on defense repeatedly while the Rockets were coming back. Until we have somebody who can move Lyles/Len out of the rotation, focusing on our valuable players is crazy. Fox might not always have a great game. With the guys around him, he shouldn't need to every game. But our frontcourt depth is a constant issue.
Agree to disagree. I thought fox played like trash. He did hit clutch fts and some of his gambles payed off while most times he was simply getting beat to the paint.

And we not asking for great games, I'm asking for consistency, and a max player shouldn't be a negative on the team. The rest of the team carries him tonight.

Monk, Murray, Sabonis, and DEBO were all on. Different level than him today. People focus on scoring only to determine a good or bad game but he honestly just had a terrible overall effort game imo

Barkley has been fairly consistent throughout his broadcast career about being harder on players when coaches get fired. He has always felt that coaches get a disproportionate amount of the blame when teams underperform.
Fact of the matter is firing a coach is the lesser evil of the other options, always, in any sports. EVEN TENNIS!

What about all the missed layups and Turn overs? Was we watching the same game?

Come on now, even the best Homer can see he had a terrible game

I see the name regularly but am unfamiliar with his celebrity. Is he just famous for twitter posts or a Laker fan or what?
Knicks fan, was calling Knicks his "wife" and Kings "his mistress" in beam season 1. He is quite famous in twitter/X for posting clips/memes etc, but this season he got in a feud with several fans (including Reece, Fox's wife) and now it seems he goes Kings way again.

He’s right. According to fans, there’s been about 8 good coaches in the history of the NBA.
