I gotta ask cause I feel like I've missed something with the lasagna thing....
And yes there is a history to Lasagna. Going all the way back to Julius Caesar, actually to his nona.. It's been said that on the morning Caesar Crossed The Rubicon, Caesar's nona prepared him for battle by feeding him lasagna. Some "scholars" have argued that this is not possible as some of the "ingredients" came from the "new world", but until you have tasted my nona's lasagna, you are not able to understand that the ONLY sustenance that could have POSSIBLY powered Caesar and his men to Cross the Rubicon and eventually take the throne, was lasagna, specifically my nona's lasagna, which is the same recipe as Caesar's nona.
It is also well documented that my nona has been feeding our players with lasanga (with extra Sauce) on occasion of big games, however nona has been quite displeased with the Kings and specifically Coach Brown. So to celebrate friendship and forgiveness for all those who doubted her wisdom that Doug Christie would be a better coach (don't make me pull up the post, this is documented), she has been giving away her Famous Lasagna, and will continue to do so for an indefinite period. As has been said, nobody ever wants less lasagna.
