Far too many talent evaluators and fans get caught up in the eye test when it comes to shooting form, when they should only be concerned with results.
WRT the KINGS, both Kevin Martin and Peja Stojakovic had odd forms yet the shots went in at a fairly high rate. When Tyrese Haliburton was here the same thing applied.
Hell, I’d argue that Larry Bird was the greatest pure shooter the game has seen, in my lifetime anyway, and even he had a funky looking shooting motion.
It doesn’t matter how it looks, just that it goes in a lot more than not. Especially so when things matter most.
