Happy for the win. As I mentioned above, we may only have DeRozan for 1 year due to his age, but it looks like he plans to really make this year(if it is his last) special. Hopefully we can get another player of his caliber next season.
Say what? Dude signed for 3 years and I don’t think he has any intention of hanging it up.

When Domas went out it was actually a benefit. The Kings doubling that pick and roll with Domas was a disaster all night long.
I'm going to use the dreaded "+/-" here, but I think it shows a pretty interesting point with Lyles, primarily playing the 5 tonight. In 19 minutes, the team was +7, despite him being absolutely atrocious shooting the ball going 1-7 overall. Matches the eye test pretty well where the Lyles minutes felt very strong overall, especially on the defensive end.

And unlike the previous 4 games, the team didn't crumble when Domas left the floor. Like you said, the Lyles set probably just worked better tonight

I know that LeBron is the oldest NBA player currently at age 39. But I'm not sure how many others are 36 to 38 years old. Deebo is 35 currently.
I think they mentioned Wizards Jordan apparently being an influence to DeRozan a few games ago. That's essentially exactly who he plays like and that is the definition of an "old man" game. He's not Jordan obviously but as DeRozan starts ticking down that's when hopefully a young player fills in the void. If he is old Jordan there won't be much of a void until he's 40 something though haha.

I'm curious to what give you that impression.

Derozan is 35 years old. Active players who are over 35 includes LeBron James, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, Al Horford, Mike Conley, Joe Ingles, Steph Curry, Brook Lopez and KD, just to name the ones who play regular minutes.

Hmmmmm I thought we got DeRozan for 3 years and I’m not sure why you feel we might have him for maybe another year?? I totally don’t agree with “due to his age”…. But happy for the win

From Atlanta to Toronto on a B2B? Who planned this garbage? lol.
The Raptors are on a 4 game losing streak and are 1-5 overall. Scottie Barnes is also out for a few weeks after he suffered a fractured orbital on Monday battling Joker for a rebound. They've been competitive in most of their games, but even on a back-to-back, the Kings should win this one.

More guys might want to look into implementing some of this "old" style

There's no reason to play Huerter in crunch time...man he's a hit and miss...never consistent...missing point blank drop shot and then a failed drive layup. It's better to have Keon out there.
Kevin had a key steal late in the game. Played the passing lane beautifully. It was immediately after he assisted on Fox’s corner 3 with about 3 minutes left in the game. Yeah he missed that gimme reverse layup but he did some nice things down the stretch
