When Domas went out it was actually a benefit. The Kings doubling that pick and roll with Domas was a disaster all night long.
I'm going to use the dreaded "+/-" here, but I think it shows a pretty interesting point with Lyles, primarily playing the 5 tonight. In 19 minutes, the team was +7, despite him being absolutely atrocious shooting the ball going 1-7 overall. Matches the eye test pretty well where the Lyles minutes felt very strong overall, especially on the defensive end.
And unlike the previous 4 games, the team didn't crumble when Domas left the floor. Like you said, the Lyles set probably just worked better tonight
