The Wrestling Thread~

I was at smackdown on Friday.. AMAZING.. KO went right up to the lady I was sitting next to because of her sign.. I got the TV angle of me and the lady and her sign.. This was the reason KO switched from black shirt early during his promo to the red shirt during the match. He signed the black one and gave it to her. She was bawling when hugging him. Amazing experience and I love Kevin Owens for this... You can see her sign in the first pic and her holding it up. I was the white dude, and my buddy I was with had the cross on his shirt. She was talking to us saying she hoped KO was there and when he came out she was so stoked. I really hope everything is going well for her. Kevin Owens made her night. I didn't try to talk to KO or anything. This was her moment and everyone around us was very respectful to her knowing he was up there to talk to her.

Did you go to any WWE events (esp. RAW/Smackdown/PPV events) back in the old barn? If so, how does the experience inside of the G1C compare?

I guess all of Rikishi’s complaining paid off
Jey’s one of my least favorite in-ring guys in the company. I love that they finally struck when the iron is hot, but man… Jey matches just aren’t good. They were clearly pressed for time at the end, but him just completely no-selling Bron’s around the ring super spear to go into his winning combo irritated me so much.

Night and day. I went to Arco as a kid in the late 80s and saw 4 shows, and they were all for TV. Three of them for Superstars of Wrestling, and on was WWF Wrestling Challenge. They usually appeared on TV about two WEEKS after the event. But most matched back then were squash matches. It was neat to see a dark match where Iron Mike Sharpe beat someone. I think that night it was SD Jones. The crowd there was nothing like the G1C crowd Friday. People were out of their minds! I was watching that episode with some others from different cities, and it's very obvious that Sacramento had the best and loudest crowd. G1C is by far better than Arco for WWE events. You're in much closer to the action. It was better than a Kings game in my opinion. The crowd was a lot louder than any Kings game at G1C that I have been to.

I am planning on going to WM41. The rooms are about $300 a night for something close to Allegiant Stadium. I don't have anyone to go with so it would be cool to go with someone and share a room for three days. I was planning on Arriving on a Friday early evening, and then coming home Monday so my hotel would be about $900. I would prefer it be $450 since I am sure my ticket for both WM nights will be about $2000, so we're looking like about $2900 to $3500 for the weekend. I was driving too because I have a BMW that is pretty fast, and I love driving.

Corrected Two Months to Two Weeks.

I never liked Jey Uso, but after seeing him live that annoying arm wave and "yeet" are no longer bothering me. He has great crowd interactions, and I actually really like the guy too. Same with McIntyre. He was flipping hilarious, and Jey was laughing at his shenanigans too. Best time I have ever had at any sporting event ever. Including playoffs at Arco in the Webber years.

I saw a few house shows in 85-86 and they were all pretty great but Sacramento was the “B” circuit that saw intercontinental or tag team champs as the main attraction.

i can’t imagine how awful sitting through a TV taping would be.

Sooooo, in order to have a pleasant, and efficient, viewing experience, I have just a few questions for you, Mr. Judas Day:
  1. At which point of the video did you commence your trip to "Suplex City"?
  2. At which point of the video did you take an F-5?
  3. At which point of the video did you take a Tsunami?
Because, frankly, I couldn't give much of a crap about anything you did prior to, or after, the above three...:p:p:p
