They've sucked from the F/T line all season. It was bound to bite them in the a$$. Its just a shame they had to lose this one. 8 years!!!!! Maybe NOW they concentrate on their F/T's??????
Eh, Monk is 87% so it is what it is. The Kings aren't good defensively but giving up the corners like that is totally inexcusable. Let alone giving a team a 3 on help defense while up 4 points. Bad habits are hard to break and come up at the worst possible time.

Giving up the corners to shrink to the paint is the Kings defensive philosophy. Just need to know when to use it and when not to use it.

This team always manage to lose or let other team get back into the game because of stupidity. This time, Malik let the Bucks player get into his head while he's at the line....missing both! I think McConnell was talking to him while he's at the line. How's that possible? You're such an automatic at the FT line? This loss is a killer because the Kings should have wrapped it up if they do what they need to do. How's Lopez getting a wide open look...stupid. Fox not even want to guard Dame at the end...like seriously? You're going to let him take a shot at the basket and not even challenge it?

I always think that if there is one thing that this team somewhat lack is playing smart basketball. Meaning, taking care of the ball, stop making dumb turnovers, doing the little thing...like burning up clock.

Despite all that, this is a game you can be proud of the effort *free throws aside*. Refs screwed them, but the return of Kvon can potentially be season changing if he builds on this game
Yeh maybe the trade talk just loosened him up some. He figures f it, if I’m on the block I’m just going to do my thing. Either it wakes him up or he is shipped off on Tuesday

Inexcusably poor awareness. This is when I wish we had NY style media instead of of "umm, hey DeAaron, how's your baby? What did it feel like to be on the losing end of this one? Tough loss huh? How bout we get a beer after this, on me?"

NY media: "Rumors continue to swirl about trade rumors for multiple players on this team, especially regarding the lack of 3pt defense. Do you think your place is secure despite being directly responsible for the loss Mr. Fox?"
Nah, when you are up 2 it's pretty much a stop the other team game. It was a tough, tough shot. The Kings could have doubled and just go back to OT I guess because it likely would have been a layup. The 3 that killed it was the one while up 4. You don't turn a 2 possession game into a 1 possession one. Give the other team the 2 point shot every time.

When you are the worst FT percentage team in the whole league, these types of losses will happen. This is a serious problem folks. Wait till the playoffs if make it there and get ready for heart breaking exit if we don’t fix this.
What is strange is that these guys have all been decent FT shooters until this year. What happened?
Naw we get calls too. We just don't make our fts

Hall of Famer
I am so unbelievable sick of the poor free throw shooting.

I'm not even lying... I was a better free throw shooter in seventh grade than more than half the players on this team. It's disgusting to me and I have no patience for it. It put this loss on pure laziness and not even caring.
Bad free throw shooting is probably the thing in basketball I find most intolerable. They’re free!! Just ahead of bad rebounding.

It’s a shame the Kings always seem to be bad at it…or when they’re good, bad when it counts.

A layup is far from guaranteed. The ONE thing you don't give up in that situation is a three point shot. Terrible, totally unprofessional basketball. I'd be ripping my HS team a new one if they gave up that shot.
