Keegan dunks and energy early was fun. 18 in the first I think? Quieter scoring half in the 2nd but his attitude early was fun. Had some clutch boards and obviously the huge 3 in double OT. Obviously Monk's night tonight but Keegan's 28&12 shouldn't be overlooked. Winning basketball play tonight

Banchero rolling his ankle and running off felt like it could fall apart for Orlando. Glad he didn't miss much time

Ending regulation with 20+ turnovers and Magic shooting 65%+ are blowout catastrophic loss numbers. Incredible to keep it competitive let alone win

This was obviously Monk's night. The dude was everything and this was his win. I dread what happens if he leaves, he's certainly worth well more than we can pay him. Idk if a city government can give a player an endorsement deal but Sacramento might need an emergency tax to keep him here. Or the airport can move all their marketing budget into a huge deal for Money Malik Monk

Holy crap. The Kings made life 1000x harder on themselves. This should’ve been a walk in the park with all their injuries, but we let them take us to double OT on the back of Paolo and a bunch of role players and guys no one here has ever heard of. This goes down as a bad win in my book, but I take a win over a loss any day of the week.

Paolo is legitimate star. He had some low IQ plays, but he can be future face of the NBA in 5 years if he can learn to consistently knock down the 3 like tonight.

Some serious damn heart out there tonight. Can't say they didn't try in this one, everyone was battling their heart out. Shout-out Monk/Domas/Murray for really carrying the load in this one.

Also, play Monk 34+ MPG. Enough screwing around with a struggling Huerter or all these fringe NBA types like Duarte.
I think Brown is saving Monk for the playoffs. The Kings have got to get Heurter back to being Heurter, at the very least because then he's valuable in a trade.

we definitely deserved to win this one. I don’t know what else Monk has to do to be the starting 2 guard on this team.
It should be relatively obvious that when Duarte takes over the starting role for Huerter and not Monk, it's not because Brown thinks Duarte is better than Monk. It doesn't even mean that Brown thinks Huerter is better than Monk. It means that Brown wants Monk's scoring and playmaking off the bench for the 1stQ/3rdQ rotations. Does Monk not close every contested game? Did Monk not drop 46 minutes tonight?

The ONLY thing Monk can do to move into the starting lineup is get WORSE and get passed on the depth chart by a better scoring guard. I don't understand why people don't see this.

Meh, debbie downer syndrome.

The team was laughable last night. They responded tonight vs a very tough Magic team (even without Franz) and our own star player just being horrible the entire game. Gutty-grit check win without Fox doing anything. How is that anything BUT a great win?

I care we had this sort of response after the worst game of the year last night. That's a sign of a team trying to grow and get better.
