Getting the Kings to 48 wins and a 3 seed. Taking the defending champs to 7 games. Ended the 16 year playoff drought. How is that not proving himself???

Now, he certainly has to show he can take this team to the next level. From a good playoff team to an actual title contender. But he's certainly earned the time to prove that.

I need a second good season to prove last year wasn’t a fluke.

I never really discussed TJD here because I didn’t really like him as a prospect. Tweener big who doesn’t shoot at all and makes a living in the post… not many in the NBA outside of maybe Sabonis. I would’ve declared this draft a dud if we took him at #38… but at #54? Sure go crazy

The only team that makes sense for him are the Kings really. He's a poor mans Domas and could easily fill in at backup C as a cheap rotation guy next year.

Not a ton of room for him on OKC with so many other higher pick capital wings in front of him, but yeah the talent is all there. Maybe he can fill in the Aaron Wiggins role

Sure he has earned the time. I never said he didn’t. I’m just not sold he is not being played. You know who I know and what has been said. I have less data as my contact has now moved to college but he swore Monte was being played previously. Oh and he still hates Sabonis and sent me major “I told you so” after the GS Series……

we shall see. I haven’t stated an opinion other than it’s a good move or he is being played again. Neither of us will know until after free agency starts. We could have taken Prosper and Jones and possibly solidified 2-3. Or not.

I liked Prosper and we shall see what happens.
