Can't believe I'm saying this again but we have always, ALWAYS, been answering a poor game with big improvements all season long.

We were abysmal in Game 3 and we came out firing and almost took their home court in Game 4.

I still have a lot of faith for us to steal game 6 after we take game 5.

The only really bad Barnes shot was the home run swing with 16 seconds on the clock but that's honestly just nitpicking too because the Kings were in position to win and that's all you can ask for. If there was anything that can be fixed it's the mismatch portions in the last two games where the Warriors have relentlessly attacked the Kings dual big lineup of Lyles and Len without having Lyles pound whatever guard is on him on the other end. You can't let the Warriors get away with having Poole or DDV guard a 6'9" 250 pound big that can score without pounding them.

We have allowed them to play small with no punishment. Then get in a 3 point contest. Warriors are famous for doing this

Why are the east Coast teams playing later than us?

I can appreciate wanting to see the Kings in the "prime time" slot, but a) I'm pretty sure that ABC wanted no parts of the Hawks, and b) De'Aaron Fox going for 38 in both of his team's games on the network with the biggest market share, and both games being super-entertaining, will probably have the most positive impact on how many national TV games the Kings get next season.

Like, I'd say it's still 70-30, at this point but, if this series goes seven, the Kings will play on Christmas. Guaranteed.

Credit where credit is due, Curry did a really good job of funneling Fox right into Draymond on the final play. Sure, it resulted in HB being left wide open but smart defense by the Warriors. Also, De'Aaron could have probably done a better job of fighting into the paint before Steph and Draymond really got in position.

This is why i hope Brown regrets calling that timeout. I wont talk about it anymore after this but omfg

The other option could've been Monk behind him to the right but Wiggins should be able to close out on Monk fast enough I don't like the chances with Wiggins being taller.

I’d gladly take my chances with that matchup. MM is a proven clutch performer that relishes those situations. If Swipa would have passed to MM, there was around 3 seconds on the clock. More than enough time to evade Wiggins and get off the shot.

I’m looking again, it’s a good clean look. It is what it is. We were down 10 going into fourth and claw back to one possession game with shot at the buzzer. Series is far from over.

True but it is the wrong look though. You don't need a 3 and obviously that wasn't the intent anyway, that said the Kings playing against the real world percentages in the regular season is one thing but once the playoffs come and you have only have 1 legit superstar and a pretty awful defense for the most part? Better at least be smart, lol.

HB can hit that shot, no doubt, but if you’re giving me the option — I’m taking MM in that situation almost every time. Even if his shot is more difficult.

One player has proven to thrive in those situations while the others history is less decorated.

there’s no risk you’re pushing the ball and getting favorable matchups with the defense not set. They weren’t gonna double fox out of nowhere without the timeout being called fox was getting to the rim with ease if they pushed it

I repeat, ALL 5 KINGS players were packed inside the paint below the free throw line. De’Aaron was the only one standing outside the paint but only barely. But still well below the free throw line 75 feet away from the opposite basket.

Wiggins and Dray were retreating already well past the 3point line with Klay not far behind.

Did you want to see De’Aaron go 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 against the Warriors best defenders?

It's an intrigue balance, you don't want to see Fox keep insisting if he misses a few in a row when the rest of our shooters are open. And the Warriors are intended to make Fox choose to give it up more or at least insist on taking a bad shot. That also applied to Sabonis, at least a few times where they baited him into going at it alone.

As Coach said, we made some mistakes, and the price for those is always higher in the playoffs.
The Kings can clearly play better. They have the stuff.
They have proven that repeatedly this past season. They dang near proved it today.

Truth of it is, we had several opportunities to go ahead and we decided to commit unforced turnovers instead.
